re: Don't be a D bag!

Why would anyone blame Nuss for getting paid, like every other player on every team in the country. Some people are just envious and somehow think they would do better. Scum bags, the kid did his best if it didn't suit you, you should have piped up last year. Some people just have to be negative, no matter the circumstances. Sad would be live in, they all get paid now even high schoolers and D2 and D3 players.
Please state why Rousse is the least qualified?
Nuss looked like he regressed after he got engaged and changed his persona. Sometime life is like that, he had it made and maybe lost interest. That is one part of the story but what about tackling by the defense, it seems in the last few games no one on defense except the DB's know how to tackle. A big bust is No. 44 from Florida, what has he done for the defense, always seems to lose the edge which is his responsibility, no need to go on, this team just lost itself on both sides of the ball.
Regardless of what level a HC is at it can be evaluated whether he can actually coach or not, can he recognize good assistants and coordinators, you don't have to be at the top to determine if someone can coach or not. BK is just an unlikeable person and I have to question can he actually coach or not. Evaluation of assistants and coordinators and players is the critical attribute now for a head coach in the world of NIL. Players could give a shite about loyalty, money is the driver so a good D2 salesman could be at the same level as the D1 big name who cannot evaluate.
Your first sentence; not even possible for her to have seen that......etc. is really the first I have seen that makes any sense. She is behind the white truck so how could she see KL's car in the wrong lane. When the truck pulled over and the proper lane exposed how much time did she have to react to the truck pulling over and swerve into the oncoming lane. Regardless of anyone's feelings on this it seems only in a court of law would the actual details be exposed, right, wrong or indifferent.
Running into the back of someone the vehicle that ran into the back of a vehicle is automatically at fault. Don't think she was thinking about that at the time but I do believe this is La. law.
Actually if the pass was long enough it was a touchdown, the second receiver was open, the pass was just really short so the receiver on the back end got lost unless paying attention. Nuss has not been able to throw the deep ball for whatever reason and his decision making is terrible.
You might have hit the nail on the head. Got engaged in off season so how much time has he really put in training for football and not marriage.
And last years O-Line was terrible run blocking. Watch film from last year and this year, much the same. The O-line does not know what to do and there is no scheme to run blocking. Anyone that watches other teams or film knows run blocking requires finesse, and its as if our O-line has not knowledge of what or how to block. Only difference with last year the O-line last year could pass block, this years line, not so much. Coaching is the problem, period.
that explains it is not the players it is the coaches that cannot teach the needed run blocking techniques needed. Pass blocking is much easier, the defense is coming to you, you just have to hold your ground, strength on strength. Run blocking the O-line has to move forward and has to have a plan of who and how to block, totally different that is why the guys all in the NFL from last year, they are being coached now.
Where are the coaches. Our O-line does not know who or how to block, no blocking scheme just watch game film. Seems there is zero coaching for the offense. Play calling is predictable and high school level, no adjustments, no finesse. Lineman don't seem to know what to do when the defense stunts. Arkansas ran for over 300 yards on OM 5 man line, and we got 57 on a 3 man line, tell me the coaches know what they are doing. BK just cannot prepare a team, no matter how much time he has and his attitude sucks.

re: If we don't see MVB against SCe

No one can actually predict how MVB will perform until he actually gets real playing time against an SEC team. If Nuss cannot perform any better than he did against Ole Miss we will lose for sure to TAM, Bama & Oklahoma and possibly Vandy so playing MVB has no down side if we lose either way. Keep losing with Nuss and possibly jeopardize his pro career if he is really hurt. Throwing into double and triple coverage does not relate to a physical injury but something mental.
I actually agree that Nuss may have some type of brain problem if he is not physically injured. Something is not right, he just does not seem like he is fully engaged mentally and his demeaner on the sidelines says something more than physical is wrong. If it is physical, then Kelly should be fired immediately for not saying so and for not at least putting in VB for a series or two to let the fog clear for Nuss and to evaluate what a mobile QB might bring to the game. Nuss not running when the opportunity is there may actually be the telltale sign he is hurt and does not want to make it worse.

Dabo said it correctly. Most of the top players do not care at all about where they play, only how much money they will make. No loyalty, not for everyone but most so college football will be a smorgasbord of teams until the payment system changes.

Now that we know Nuss is hurt his passing makes sense. We cannot run the ball and I think it has more to do with block scheme than the O-line ability
Trying to run up the middle on the goal line when all 11 players are on the line is something a little league coach might do but it seems I have been complaining about this for years now. The QB should have enough sense to check out to something else when he sees the entire other team at the line.
What I have not heard anyone say is that is does not matter if the ball moves or even is fumbled after the player crosses the goal with the ball secured, which it was. Second, how many times did Klubnik throw the ball away with no receiver anywhere in sight, but no intentional grounding calls.
Both guards and the center got pushed around last year and the two all world tackles could not block at all on run plays. Appeared no one really knew what to do, blocking schemes were non existent and everyone knew what we were going to run before the play started.
Pitching is not our issue it is hitting. If we cannot hit a little league pitcher having Skenes on the mound will not mean anything.
Agree 100%. Hitting is the problem, no team is putting up 10-15 runs regardless how bad the pitching is and we seem to have real trouble hitting and scoring runs. This team just does not seem to have the spark necessary to go all the way, in fact, if they were not at home I would question if they get out of the regional.
