Yeah, he only won 1 national title and had some bone headed decisions on his way to become the winnest coach in LSU football history. But he consistently recruited some of the best players in football with no scrutiny. That’s something to be commended.
When power houses such as USC and Ohio St were getting hit with probation, he was averaging 10 wins a season and had LSU ranked high each season.
What a coach we had. Did it with class and was a fun ride. Cheers to you coach Miles!!

I agree though they were some problems that his staff took care of before the shite hit the fan. I'm sure he did the same things that all coaches do. From the outside the program was clean.

This! Every major program cheats in football and basketball. It’s the only way to get top recruits. Just a matter of who gets caught.

Think about it. The schools making offers have to be competing against somebody. They’re not bidding against themselves.

This is objectively false. We were cited by the NCAA for a major infraction under Miles's watch and put on probation. Not saying this gives Wade a pass to do the same, but if you're going to remember Miles, at least remember the facts, not what fits your narrative.

There will be many in this thread who wanted Miles fired and secretly realize how dumb that was, so they’re going to pretend he ran a dirty program to make themselves feel better about it.
Besides that, John Brady was another who ran a clean program and was fired to appease a fan base who ultimately got what they deserved over the next 11 years.
