For sure. The chances of them pulling an equal or better coach are nil.
If you think our expectations are high and it’s crazy here now, watch OSU fans if they run off Meyer and start declining.

He either already knows they are keeping him or he's lying again. Id bet on the former. This is the way this POS rolls. He'll do anything to make himself look like Mr Morality. His actions continue to say different.

It be dumber for him to walk away by a mile. OSU is arguably the best gig in all of coaching at any level. Several coaches have won it all there and several more will, before we expire Grandad.
Hell Saban might even take that gig. For a "small raise".

Ohio State will never let an elite coach walk. Urban would have to literally be found guilty of murder or accessory for the university to commit suicide. The money lost and wins lost is too much to bear.

The interesting thing about that report is that the Board of Trustees are the ones who can hire and fire the college president.
OSU President Drake may be the one forced to leave if he persists. He already ticked off quite a few people a few years ago when he fired the OSU band director.
At this point, which one of the 3 prime actors will go, OSU President Drake, AD Gene Smith, or HC Urban Meyer?
Last I knew, the board is still meeting, many hours after they started early today.
