It's even worse than that. It's about a support staff guy. Not an actual coach.
The bag man at that

Sam Petitto wasn’t there, I highly doubt he commits to Ohio St. His influence now exceeds the Amite / Tangi area. I guess
Dude, what?
Shut the frick up. He didn't commit to Ohio state because of Sam petitto

I get that but it didn’t stop Saban from poaching him from Georgia. Ever heard the saying…”Keep your friends close, your enemies even closer”?

Yes he Fkn did among other reasons dumb fk.

quit making ASSumptions .... how do you know if LSU never pursued him ? Lots of CFB administrative contacts with coaches and their agents never get released to the public, they're kept quiet. Additionally, did you ever think Sam has no interest in moving back to LA ? Sam is obviously more comfortable living in other States based on his career choices.
I guess your next melt will be why LSU has never pursued Pete Golding.

Oh it’s the monkey see monkey do mentality in here. I asked a question, nothing more. As usual 95% in Tre can’t simply answer the post question or give an opinion without insults yet I’m the emotional one? Lolololol comical!

Well if we compare Petitto's success versus the success of Olson, it doesn't appear that there is really anything to compare. I have no idea why Olson got the position, without any experience, and then we pay another coach to help him. It sure does sound like a 'buddy hire'.
LSU has made some improvements in the coaching staff, but there are still at least two positions that need upgrading, with safety being one of them. The other is the big 'if' position on the team this year. We should not be in this position with that group after 3 years. If we could get Petitto with what we are paying two coaches, I see no reason not to go for it. He definitely has a track record.

And several have said the same on different threads so it’s not just my opinion. Just like DeVonte Smith committed to Georgia while Petitto was working there. As soon as Petitto leaves Georgia, and takes job at Bama, DeVonte decommits from Georgia and commits to Georgia. Top player from Louisiana but yea sure Petitto had nothing to do with it at all Lol but DeVonte’s barber and Saban’s bagman, Vincent Sanders, went to high-school and played football with Petitto. Yea nothing to see here according to naive DA like you.

If you think players are committing to schools bc of a support staff guy you are way off. If you think that support staff guy helped make sure that players handlers got paid then you'd be correct. Kids don't commit to school based of the guy that sets up recruiting visits. But they do go to school (pre NIL) that their handlers push them too based on their handlers getting a kick back. This isn't complicated.

Lol WOW! You can’t be this naive. SMH DeVonte Smith said publicly in so many words he trusted Petitto etc. and why he followed him to Alabama. Make sure in the 2nd link you scroll halfway down and read the part where DeVonte Smith says it’s been a while since he talked to Sam but he can go to him for anything etc etc etc.

Your question isn't the melting part, it's your juvenile responses to everyone that are the melting. You even pulled out the mom's basement retort

Sounds too much like Peveto. Bad memories.

Huh? I wasn’t implying hire Petitto to replace Olsen. What are you talking about? I clearly said at the end of the original post that we should hire Patrick Peterson to coach the cornerbacks and Corey Raymond to coach the Safeties.

Only after receiving juvenile responses first just like yours. I reply accordingly. Now, answer the post question or stfu.

No, you didn't. And being juvenile in response is also juvenile.

If this is what you want, you've come to the wrong place, TD is a public forum known for its snarkiness. BTW, very mature response

With NIL now, why does anyone believe coaches are actually the difference makers in recruiting?
And if someone one raised the ante, If guess Bradford might change his mind. That’s how many if not most of these deals work.

My God the stupidity in here…I don’t know if LSU has or not DA. That’s why I made a post asking if anyone knew if we had or not.
No I don’t want Golding but he’s better than Olsen. Golding only got the Bama DC job because of Petitto. Golding coached under Petitto at Southeastern and before Bama. He had never coached at a school in the power 5 before Bama which affirms the following statement:
It was a package deal. Petitto, Golding and DeVonte Smith to Alabama.

Is that you Sam?
Posted on 5/8/25 at 11:31 am to doubleb
Because it does take more than money to be successful ans ann individual athlete and just maybe these kids parents, coaches etc. are telling them that. If they truly want to play for the NFL, you go where you can get paid AND get the development you need.
