Yea but you see the problem here is Leavitt would miss an entire month of the season. You really want to spend the money on a QB that probably has to miss the first 4 or 5 games?

Lane will fix him. Kid has all the talent.
Lane will teach him how to drive in the right Lane at LSU University. (AKA University of LSU)

I know you’re getting downvoted, but I watched almost every snap leavitt took.

I agree I saw a panicked qb that had very little clue about what to do with the ball. Dude can run though.

Maybe Lane can fix him. We’ll see.

He handled himself well against a more talented UT team last year. More maturity and Lane… no limit

Why do the rumors terrify you as an LSU fan?

Because he's a mediocre QB at best.

He has the perfect last name to transfer though!

He’s not a kid I’m risking a must win season with imo.

You think next year is a must win season? Who are the other two quarterbacks that you would rather Lane go after?

I'm a Sun Devil grad but have never waivered my allegiance to LSU since in my momma's womb.
Leavitt isn't BR bound. My guess is he will be a Vol. Offense there is far better suited to his skill set.

With that logic, as an LSU alum in Tuscaloosa, I should have Bama season tickets bc of my love of the game. HELL NO

That’s not really close to the same thing. ASU and bama aren’t even in the same universe as far as rivalry. I spent 8 years of my childhood in Phoenix and absolutely pull for ASU; I just pull for the Tigers about 100x more.

the fact that you had to spell this out is alarming.

We know, all you care about is if he can run. You don't care a lick about his passing ability. You have made that clear. Just run and we are happy. Unfortunately, it takes a lot more than that to be successful on the highest level.

AZ State said his foot surgery was early November and would take up to 5-6 months recovery. So it must not be the worst serious case that would take 1-year to recover. He can rehab and strengthen during the next 2-3 months. Matt Mauck had same surgery and was back passing (not running) after only 2 months rehab. He should be able to start passing by February and run by spring/summer.

**Have family member an athlete who had same foot surgery, full recovery in 5 months.

The kid refuses to sit in a pocket, panic scrambles almost every play, and throws a ball down field with his eyes closed. I just don’t have faith in what I’ve seen (in lane I trust so we will see)

Did you just describe another ASU transfer that ended up being alright at LSU?
