And LSU has 7 LOB so far

That's not a lot through 8 innings. It's a lot considering we've only had 8 base runners

Has an LSU baseball team had a worst week than this week since the 90s?

Not one bunt attempt to try and challenge them and get runners on. Jj is not making great decisions

Plain and simple, Jay needs to play the players that want to play team baseball. I am not seeing anything fundamental in the hitting approach. Down 6-1 and Dardar and Arrambide are swinging at the first pitch. Thankfully Dardar got a hit but catch up baseball means you take until you get a strike and you sometimes take 3-1.

Arrambide has plenty of pop. Giving up on the sophomore catcher is crazy.

If they are going to swing at first pitches when we need base runners I’m turning this shot off. Ridiculous approach to hitting.

Cortez leading off the 9th for Sac State vs Rizy.

Strike, 0-1
Low and outside, 1-1. Serna in for Arrambide
In the dirt to the backstop, 2-1
Swing and a miss, 2-2
Swing and a miss, K! 1 Out

I am done with baseball for 2025. Not going to suffer though the ups and downs of a hole season with a lack lustre team like this sorry im out
There is so much wrong with this post. Is it possible for adults to re-attend 5th grade in real life? I've seen it in movies.

Why did they frick with Curiel’s swing?

Sacrificed contact for power

Curiel's batting average this year is almost identical to last year. His swing doesn't look much different. His outs today have been line drives, not him trying to lift the ball
