Sheerin has looked like he could be a starter in a couple of his appearances. This was by far his worst outing and he didn't have it today, but that doesn’t mean he suddenly sucks.

We can say the pitching is erratic today, at times it has been. But LSU has put up exactly zero runs. Never threatened. So I’m not gonna come down on pitching yet.
