Saban had Dodge Chargers and cash money when no one else did.. the NCAA knew this but didn’t do anything about it…he didn’t like everyone on the same playing field.. he was mad mad…

So he wants dodge chargers for everyone?

What a savvy business man he is now that he owns those car dealerships.

Equal: Ed Orgeron cast in multiple AFLAC commercials, with the storyline of him inserting the duck into the goat to make a goatducken, and cooking the writhing squealing mess entirely from the heat that radiated off his oiled skin and steely gaze.

Exactly. This has gone on at every big school forever. When I was in high school in the early ‘80s, an LSU signee from our school suddenly upgraded to a brand new Z28 with a personalized license plate that read “LSU XX” (the XX being his future jersey number at LSU).

Why do people think that Saban had an advantage in recruiting before NIL and the transfer portal?

I recalled he made it pretty clear he was not initially a big NIL supporter. Many things happening in college football would help lead to more parity.

I believe he thought new things like the transfer portal and NIL wouldn’t help insure continued Alabama dominance and thus didn’t meet with his approval.
