It doesn't matter what he says about it. The fact that he says anything about it is good. Attention is being brought to the situation. Even when analysts chime in and say they agree with the call or whatever "by the letter of the law". Bringing acknowledgement to it is good.

we’ve got lots of people who make those decisions. It’s a player safety rule. We’ve got people in the booth who look at replays, and that’s why we do it -- so they get it right.
