It can only be a player safety rule if "all" players and "all" schools receive the same scrutiny and punishment and the calls are made every time there is even remote possibility that targeting occurred. The Alabama Tennessee game proves that is not the case. Three players from Alabama should be sitting out the first half of the LSU game if the rule is about "player safety".
