Saban is the best coach LSU has had in modern football and kicking our arse at Bama. Damn right I wish he was our coach again. He is a winner period.

Catastrophe Syndrome is like TDS. It’s irrational and hard for some to shake.

Every fanbase does it. Bama fans were talking about it being time for Nick to retire just a few years ago

Saban (without the transfer portal) also won 8 games his first year after taking over for Dinardo. I think LSU won one conference game the year before (after GD was fired). Last night was a crap fest. We'll see what happens from here.

He also inherited more talent. Reauxhan, Reed, Devery, Ryan Clark, Domanick Davis, Jarvis Green, LaBrandon Toefield.

Nope. Saban left for the NFL and no one should have blamed him. If the LSU position would have been open he would have returned.

LSU has talent. Not very deep but there is talent. Reasonable people know Kelly certainly needs more time. But the team last night looked like they didn't have spring or fall camps.

Denbrock trotted out a Cam Cameron offense last night

It takes more than a single off-season to formulate a new offense with many players who have never played a full 60 minutes together. You just reinforced the premise of the OP.

And before you say "hur hur Joe Burrow and Joe Brady did it" those players showed exemplary team leadership and worked thousands of man hours at the end of the previous season. Also Joe Brady encorporated Burrow's high school concepts into the new offense with NFL concepts. Also Burrow was fully graduated and was able to focus all of his time on film study. That's a luxury most teams don't get.

Have to be patient unless you feel like hopping off the bandwagon in favor of finding a new one.

I had total faith with Saban as our coach.

This is a lie particularly after the following games.

LSU has the worst fans in college sports. It’s because they directly tie themselves and the state to a college football team.

First in obesity, last in education, high in cancer rates…….

They expect LSU football to be the redeeming quality for a state run by crooked politicians and low IQ citizens.

This is definitely a rebuilding season. Give Kelly some time. O left us in a mess.

this thread is a great re-read from last year

two months after this thread we beat bama and played in the SECG

this year we have a historically great offense and a historically bad defense

so a year later want to fire House and Kelly instead of last year just firing Denbrock

In the beginning of 2003 so many LSU fans were grumbling that Saban gets aot of credit for mediocre results.

The hell are you taking about?
We put up nearly 500 yards of offense and JD one was close to 300 passing and 200 rushing when he left the game.

You must be one of those idiots who thinks if the offense doesn’t get a TD every possession, it’s their fault when we lose.

The defense only had to stop 1 single person last night. And everyone knew that pamper is 1 dimensional. Yet the defense couldn’t do shite about him.

I wish cam Cameron would have put up offenses like last night. We would’ve had a couple more wins vs Bama when Les was here.

2019, 2022, 2023: years that LSU has scored 28 points or more against Bama since 2008.

1922, 1925, 2020, 2023: years that Bama has scored 42 points or more against LSU ever.

Go ahead and blame the offense.

ETA: Sorry, didn't notice this was a bump from last year.
