Definitely. I was there. Memorable game for all the wrong reasons. That was my junior year.

03 was sweet revenge.

College Gameday also needs to stop coming to BR when we play them. We are 0-6, averaging 9 points a game at home.

We beat Bama in 2000, '01 and '03-'07 and in '10 and '11.

We were 9-3 across those 12 seasons.

12 games
We were 4-2 vs Bama in Tiger Stadium (00, 02, 06,10)
We were 5-1 vs Bama in Bryant-Denny (01, 03, 05, 07, 11)

Remember, this is the best stretch LSU has ever had against Bama, and still, LSU had a better record in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama had 2 back-to-back 90 yard drives right before the half that turned a 0-0 snorefest into a rout in the making. U-G-L-Y.

I was there.
It was horrible.
I thought we had turned a corner.
I was wrong.

This is so absurd. We need a coach that belongs in the SEC.

Our current coach has one of the best win percentages in the conference.

You do realize that those are the 5 wins he is talking about right? Prior to 2000, LSU's last win against Bama in TS was 1969. That's a long damn time

Seems like Georgia has the same issue we do. Both of our sets of players see those Alabama jerseys on the other side and don't play up to their potential.

Tbh at least in the miles years the loses to bama were flat out dogfights. We always played them extremely hard and tough. We were one the few teams that had the d-line and db room to match their offenses. Unfortunately more often then not poor offensive execution doomed us.

We had no QB the second part of the season. Hardly any offense whatsoever.

Then How else can u explain us not beating them at home for 30 years until 2000 and then not winning at home for 10 years until '22?

They were the better team for the large majority of those 15 matchups.

You can hat Alabama all you want but they were by far the best program over that span. 10 years is only 5 games.

Matt Mauck tore up his foot because Saban left him in Florida game too long. Marcus Randal wasn't ready for SEC play we also got crushed by Auburn that year also.
