I'll believe when it is official, but if Ole Miss and Ms State aren't two of our three or however many permanent opponents the system is flawed.

Brody Miller of The Athletic suggests that LSU's will be Ole Miss, A&M, and Bama.

Hate getting stuck with those weirdo queers from college station. I'd much rather keep Florida on the schedule.

I'm actually surprised they dumped Ark for A&M; I think we all figured Ole Miss & Bama were going to be two of them

We've actually played them every year since '53 minus 3 years at end of the 60's. Great Rivalry. Keep it going.

But, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Bama don't solve the Thanksgiving weekend problem for us.

This is a part few people mention.
Florida - FSU
Georgia - GT
Kentucky - Louisville
S Carolina - Clemson
Tennessee - Vandy
Auburn - Alabama
Ole Miss - Miss St
Texas - Texas A&M

Leaves

1. Saban will be HC at Bama until he gets very ill or dies.

2. Bama was the winningest SEC program long before Saban arrived there. They will make a good hire when Saban dies.

3. UGA is poised to be the top dawg in the SEC if bama falters.

Based on the matchups you posted, why wouldn't Oklahoma get Oklahoma St?

I'm fine with Bama. I think 10 years ago that would have sucked, but the "tide" is changing.

We had to play them every eye we for the past 10 years anyway???

Mid-90s to Saban say this isn't a guarantee. Of course, when he does retire, they will be the #1 option available and should have a better available pool than when they went with DuBose, Shula...

Doesn’t matter what he thinks, it’s what ESPN wants and with that contract ESPN has shelled out they will get the yearly matchups they want…

I’d rather get stuck with anyone other than A&M Texas and Oklahoma as permanents. I don’t think founding members of the SEC should be forced to play multiple expansion teams every year.

At this point, recruiting ratings are overrated and pointless. 5 stars that everyone drools about don't pan out and then the 2 stars become 5 stars in college and then pro bowlers in the NFL.

Exactly. Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas would make the most sense for us.

Everybody keeps saying A&M but that would require Texas and A&M to play earlier in the season. I just don't understand why the league wouldn't want that game Thanksgiving weekend.

Let OU/Mizzou play and that way if Bedlam and Mizzou/KU every get going again you don't have to disturb any other schedules.

They can alternate years. LSU-Oklahoma and Arkansas-Missouri one year and LSU-Arkansas and Oklahoma-Missouri the next.
