Saban is a joke...

He calls play for Maze, with bad ankle, to throw a pass. Intercepted. He puts Maze back there to return punt several plays later. He can't hobble to it, so it rolls 72 yds. He plays for OT and lets last 2 minutes go to waste. In OT, he's got 3rd down, probably already out of field goal range, and has 12 men on the field. GAME OVER. LSU needs only 5 yds and a better hash mark position and it's game over. Had Miles blew it this bad, we'd be firing him tomorrow. BUT REMEMBER, it's Saban's 5th year....he's always been worthless his 5th year at every school he's coached.

I understand some LSU fans are butthurt over Saban and the way he left LSU still, but frick give him some respect.
I still like him as a coach and for everything he did for LSU.
ETA: If LSU lost this game what would we be saying? Les is a terrible coach for putting Lee back in after his first int?

He played for over time cause he knew if he threw the ball down field it was probably gonna get picked again.he probably felt they could get it done on the short field in OT butvthe defense rose up and answered the challenge

I questioned using Maze on the punt return, but apparently the trajectory of the ball was changed when the ball nit the camera guide wire a above the field.
He made some mistakes tonight, but I wouldn't characterize him as worthless. Probably still gets Bama to the Sugar.

Yes, since he's gonna lose to Auburn and then whoever thay play in abowl. He'll be back to "4-loss" Saban, just like at every other school he's coached.

Rantard. I'm stupid. Right....just look at his record. I don't "hate" Saban because he left LSU, I would've too, and thankfully we got the better end of the deal. Stupid? Yeah, three year starter at SEC school (not LSU) and five years in the NFL, starting 55 games, makes me really stupid compared to a f'ing genius like you. I'm sure you could tell us everything about jockstrap cleansing and folding and locker maintenance, but please don't comment about the game of football or its coaches/players.

Not buying that lame excuse. There are safe throws and especially screen throws to the best rb in the country in a situation that often lends itself to screens plays working and Saban just throws away at least 30 seconds so he can go to overtime against LSU when his field goal team had struggled all night. Not smart.
