That doesn't keep you from being stupid, or from being an a-hole.

Can we just let the Bama game go?

Not as long as we have assholes saying bama is better and trying to twist the fabric of space and time to make it out that somehow Saban didn't screw up multiple times during the game.

I am but hurt over Saban leaving, taking the job I'n the same conference, lying about it and stealing our top recruits. I respect him as a coach because he is good but he is a lying unethical prick. I wish him nothing but the worst! He made the fuc--- bed he is sleeping I'n.

Saban did F it up, and the OP is correct in saying if Les had done the same clusterfrick as Saban, the media and fans would be up in arms.

Would he be a joke if Reid would not have intercepted the pass?

Miles had a better game plan. He also had his team better prepared.

LSU won the battle this year.

Miles is 3-2 vs. Saban.

I'm not so sure, I'd dismiss Saban off as being a "joke" just yet.

I'm sure you could tell us everything about jockstrap cleansing and folding and locker maintenance, but please don't comment about the game of football or its coaches/players.

Anyone figure out who this is?

I figured out who it is. The key hints were:

1. 3 year starter (not LSU)
2. 5 years in the NFL
3. His opinion expressed in the OP

He is a middle aged accountant with one friend and an empty refrigerator (except leftover chinese and some milk) who always got picked last and never played football even in HS.

Goober...that really suits you well.

No, Saban isn't a joke. You, however, a different story!

I'm way over Saban. I hate that he's the coach of Alabama because they were going to keep looking for a good coach to bring back their program and now we have to face him every year. Face it, he's one of the best in the country...but then so is Coach Les Miles!

Great post, TigerWatch! Saban is a great coach. Every one of these dumb fricks who are criticising him now used to revere him. Saban hasn't changed. They have. He's a joke, they say about a guy who has won two championships at two schools. Or, he's a jerk. Why? Because he left LSU and went to bama. To substantiate this they hold up, as an example, Les Miles, a guy who left Ok State and went to LSU. LM and NS are both great coaches and (seemingly) solid individuals. One caveat: I would have said the same about Paterno 10 days ago.

Just don't understand the hate. As a parent I would not have a problem with my kid playing for Saban. Maybe he is a jerk but a lot of kids now days need a little tough love, nothing wrong with teaching them the world is not always easy.

And, believe it or not, losing a football game is not the end of the world.

They also erect statues to coaches there. He could be the first coach to get statues at two universities.
That would be sweet! That Paterno statue is artistically superior to his at UA,

It wasn't his finest hour, I will agree. Probably the special teams coach did the Maze thing, not Saban, but yeah Saban could have overridden it.
