you can manufacture just about any stat you want (positive or negative) depending on your parameters.
pretty sure you could make Joe Montana look terrible with the right inputs (not equating Burrow to Montana).

It’s a misleading or incomplete stat. I’ll stay in the LSU family, Jayden Daniels first year at LSU he set a record for times being sacked, somewhere in the low 40s. The reaction was that his Oline wasn’t good but the Oline stats showed they were top 8 in the nation in time allowed so they were blamed for something, using statistics that were misleading or incomplete. Big Ben, Cam Newton, high sack totals with good protection for many years between the two.
