They aren’t losing anyone. Redus is unproven and LSU is a power with a HoF HC. Redus isn’t calling ANY plays or really doing scouting of other teams. He is specifically there to recruit.
Those freshmen are not only stick together, they will win this post season to the final four.
They are all playing. Bella is going to be the leader of them come next season.
Money will talk tho.

But will she? SHE told us out of her own mouth, in her opening presser, this is a stepping stone to get to the WNBA. With the W now expanding, my expectations are that we may see her interview.
Would love to see her stay here and take over though.
Gary was really good at what his role was for us. Was also really good at Player Development too. This is a good hire. All accounts point to him being a good person. Having good people be leaders of young people is a good thing.

This is a lie..
REDUS is THE recruiter of the team..idc if you got coach K you aint winning without the best players. Redus also deals with substitution during games. Simone takes the books/stats and watch the foul trouble. The other assistance watch the bench and keep them off the court and hydrated. Starky watches the defense and defensive schemes and situations.
Redus and simone deals with player development. Redus is the main roster retention coach on the team. Redus is usually the primary recruiter and if they dont get passed him they dont even make it to Kim. Its been said in an interview that he go and watch and he ONLY brings her to close. Thats it. He knows her time is limited so if she is there, that player is pretty much a take.
Redus has created social media buzz with LSU.
We cant sit here and lie like Redus isnt a HUGE blow to LSU at an ELITE level. LSU will get players...no doubt but CONSISTENT final 4/national title contending players this is a major blow...

Doubtful any of the players in the regular rotation would transfer to a fledgling program when they will have even bigger roles in the next couple of seasons. Perhaps Divine and Megan , but if Divine works on her development she willl have a chance at decent playing time. Megan has always been a two year work in progress but is she likes it here she will stay and grow into a role as a backup center for 10 minutes or so.

Nobody has approached him since Kim brought him here for a job as an assistant coach much less a head coaching job. He is getting this job because Tate knows him and that is the only reason. Plus, he gets to more than double his salary there.

Let him go. This last class was successful because Kim was back actively recruiting. Redus was getting his arse kicked and constantly finishing second. And an Xs and Os guy he is not.

Football did fine recruiting without Frank because they have a great HC. WBB will be fine without Redus.

True.
Now in this day of NIL, no transfer should absolutely shock us. But we ain’t losing a big-time player to Redus and Rutgers.
