Please God don't let it be fricking Carville.
I never agree with James Carville's politics but I never doubt his love for LSU.

He would be totally energized to make LSU great, not just in athletics, but also in academics.

Plus he'd be very entertaining....

And his wife would be there to chill his more radical tendencies.

If Carville doesn't apply, we could always offer the job to Dr. Shaquille O'Neal.

Certainly a supportive administration is a strong factor in the success of athelitics. Each time we have been a consistent competitive program LSU had positive backing from university management.

Need this to happen!

I heard last month from a friend over at Pennington that Alexander is on his way out. Now it’s just a question on who Sloth will get the BOS to appoint.

Anyone having an association with LSU over the past 20 years can see how the school clawed its way up the ladder, then our state pissed it all away. Louisiana will always be a shithole unless we demand excellence in our leaders.

Rumor that King Alexander is an Alabama booster.
It would explain a lot.

And why is that? Jindal was behind the King mess. Or are you just an unhappy person?

Are you serious? You think the person who just last week said that he thinks football salaries are overblown compared to resources spent on education, is going to support someone who values athletic success. JBE’s preferred candidate is going to have a very similar mindset to FKA based on his own comments.

Alexander is a scapegoat not the problem. Aleva, politics and boosters with lots of money are making football decisions. King leaving would solve nothing

I heard Staci the part-time receptionist at the University Center is a real mover and shaker and has a ton of upside. She could be a great fit at AD.

I also heard she makes a mean jambalaya. No tomatoes, though.

From what I know, the BOS is not unhappy with Alexander. He may want to leave on his own but no one is going to force him out.

Where is this being said on 247? I don't see it anywhere.
It was mentioned throughout one of the signing day threads. I will have to go through them and find it.

The post that caught my eye was someone quoted another poster that said he heard Alexander was stepping down in June.

His response was something along the lines of, "this was what I was trying to get at without saying it"

Edit: Typo

I think Alexander stepping down assures well have Alleva and O for at least 2 more years. An intermediate president is going to fire Alleva? Then O?

Lawyer started a thread yesterday saying rumors were true and that was it. Thread got whacked quick. Any idea if these are related?

Good start, but we're also going to need a high quality AD, ASAFP.

Would you be okay with Alleva to President if we got Woodward as AD?
