Probably. It depends who else they draft and what they think they can sign those other draft picks for. I seriously doubt he can get slot with his history.

Why can’t fans just congratulate the kid and wish him the best? I hope he gets slot value and changes his life and others with the money.

Absolutely nothing? Go back & read the Texas coach’s comments after the game in Houston last year.
Basically said Hill’s stuff was so good he shouldn’t be in college. I was there & almost felt sorry for the Texas hitters Jaden mowed down.
His health let him down, otherwise we may have been taking about him going in the draft before Rocker.

He pitched 51 innings over 3 years. Either the kid has some absolutely nasty stuff or Rockies just taking a shot in the dark. For the 44th pick, that doesn’t seem…prudent.

I wish Jaden nothing but the best. The talent is there but you wonder about the durability, he’s only thrown 51 innings in 3 years. I think if he goes to the ‘pen he’s got a real shot. I’m pulling for him
