You are most likely illiterate. LSU was not involved in this filing. Luis is likely to still not be rostered by LSU but it opens up a path for Luis to go after the SEC for damages.

So you believe players who played AND got paid in the NBA Summer League and/or G League are OK to return to college (as many have)? But it’s not ok for someone to return who didn’t play in either?

LSU HAS to go to the SEC for guidance. This somewhat immunizes LSU against player law suits. LSU needs to show that we WOULD have played RJ ( and the others) had the SEC not made draconian threats about expulsion. This is going to cost the league millions- and it will eventually cost Sankey his job- and it would be intelligent for Lsu to minimize our legal exposure by making the SEC go on the record again after this ruling.
The SEC is saying in effect: DEFY the courts to obey our arbitrarily applied rules- OR ELSE.
