He had a video back in the day with a blonde driving a boat in a very small bikini.

Can't recall the name of the song.

Don't forget his song Chicken Truck. Every time I pass one or see a chicken farm. I chuckle remembering it.

I'm behind it. I'M stuck. Something keeps messing up my windshield.

RIP John. I hope you are singing with the angels and Dolly in heaven.

He played here right after Swinging was released. Was a big deal back then, and I don't believe the bar knew what they had booked at the time.

I've always thought his song Mississippi Moon was vastly underrated.

Played this song during my wedding reception. Relatable for anyone who grew up in the south.

My dad and I don't have a whole helluva lot in common. He's a good man, but regardless. Anyway, I was about 12 when my ol man took me to see John Anderson in concert at Chastain Park in ATL. Phenomenal show, but more than that, my dad actively was trying to share something we both enjoyed.

JA will always be a part of my life's soundtrack. Big fan, and RIP.

Met him at Ft. Morgan marina probably around 1995. He was coming in from a fishing trip with his buddies and me the same with my buddies. We cleaned fish side by side for about 45 minutes and drank a beer together (all of us) and chatted about the day.

I remember it was the first time i saw a Ranger center console and it was his.

Hate to hear this.

I still get mad at my wife. About 10 years ago on a Monday afternoon she asked me if I knew who John Anderson was. I said of course. She proceeds to tell me how all the ladies and their husbands in the office went to see his show in Shreveport and what a wonderful dinner they had with him before the show. Turns out, one of her coworkers husband had been a roadie for him since the 80’s. We were all invited, but because my wife didn’t know who he was she never mentioned the opportunity to me.

Unforgivable.
