Revisiting the BK hiring, birth of the coaching changes board.

What a shite show that board was, but I will never forget the experience. It was as entertaining as any LSU football season.
It was like a soap opera. And I couldn't get enough. Everyday there was another scoop from an inside sauce.
I think the coaching changes board had a hand in the Lincoln Riley saga.

I took some heat on here when BK was hired. I said I thought it was great hire but my one concern with BK was that he might get conservative on offense. With everyone on cloud 9 after the hire, any negative comments were derided. So the heat wasn't much of a surprise. I gotta say my concerns pretty much vaporized when BK had us line up for the two-point conversion against Bama. While I thought that was the right call (before the snap), it still took some massive balls to call that play. I was just a spectator and I was a mess watching it.
I think in year two BK is going to give some more fun to talk about. I've got a feeling that BK has got a few trick plays up his sleeves. If he does, I expect he will use them to maximum effect. He'll pull them out when the game situation makes them most likely to succeed, and he's going to use them to snatch victory from defeat in a close game. If you take a team that on average is expected to go 10-2 and you steal one extra victory, then that's an 11-1 team that is playoff bound.
