They should be banned until after recruiting is over.

Didn’t this same publication say that OSU’s offensive coordinator was going to be the head coach for UNLV yesterday?

Did anyone stop to think that this is nothing but propaganda being put out by, oh, I don’t know, maybe Clemson people? Seems a little fishy that their next opponent and then their only other possible opponent for the year would be the ones who had coordinators named as “the guy” for this job in back to back days.

what the frick is going on
A) UNLV reached out, or Aranda reached out

B) either Aranda or UNLV didn't like what they were hearing

C) talking was instant power bar protein for many, including but not limited to the media, to feed on.

D) serious talks =/= contract. serious talks == bi-directional interview

E) this shite never stays quiet

F) It's nearing signing day #1. EVERYBODY IS LEAVING!!1! Recruits, go somewhere else... don't believe the rumors, it's that time of year. It will happen again in the 3rd week of Jan - end of Jan. Raymond will be leaving again. VT is going to offer CEO. Brady is going to 100 different schools including Vandy. We'll hear it all, just so recruits will think twice right about the time of final visits and signing day approaching.

Aranda will get the big school offer one day. He just has to be patient.

That’s not what he said. He said they made him an offer.

Obviously he turned it down

Arkansas doesn’t have a shot to win a national title at least for the next few decades.

Thought Vol said Dave had a offer and UNLV gave him a few days to look it over.

vol just says a bunch of “maybes” and people think he’s an insider. vol doesn’t know shite. He just reads the same articles everyone else does and pretends. He’s a try hard who wants to feel important.

I'm about as skeptical as anyone, but vol has legit proven his worth a few times on here.

Aranda is a smart dude, he knows he can get better than freaking unlv. This never made enough sense to be believable

The AP just published an article saying UNLV had made an offer to Aranda. Rittenberg is saying no offer was made.

Schools often make exploratory verbal offers. If the verbal is rejected they deny ever making a formal offer. It saves face.

I have no idea if this true or not. Sometimes I can tell he is just giving stuff from the pay sites and passing it off as his own. Other times he seems to have some knowledge. One thing I do know is that all the dick riding has ruined the recruiting board. It has gotten so bad I am convinced it wont be long before one of his followers starts seeking Vol's advice on life decisions such as what to eat for breakfast.

Voltiger verbatim said “they’re about to hire Dave”....

The dude isn’t connected, he follows pay sites

Of course not, aranda to unlv made zero sense. Now I can see aranda talking to anyone that calls so as to not burn bridges, but this was never going to happen

I agree on both counts. Vol likely has sources close to the program and rarely states absolutes on recruiting. 17 year old kids change their minds sometimes. Shocking!

As for Aranda, I didn't see how UNLV could offer enough to make the jump worth while and it doesn't seem like a good HC starting point for him. Colorado St would make more sense, but I still don't know if the money would work.

He's from out west so I can see him eventually getting a HC gig at a mountain west team or PAC 12 one day.

He needs HC interview practice if that is what he wants in my opinion

Hope he sticks around through season but then if he wants HC hopefully he gets it

I hope he gets bigger job though
