Also, if the NCAA wanted to be there, LSU had to allow them into the meeting. This is because of the contractual agreement between LSU and the NCAA regarding compliance and cooperation. WW also has this written into his contract as well.

Wades contract has been posted here, the applicable NCAA rules have been posted here repeatedly, it may be paraphrased, but it is 99% true.

What part isn’t true

LSU as an active member of the NCAA, is at their mercy
Will Wade as an employee of LSU, is at their mercy
Both of these things are binded in writing

Apparently news coming forth about Wade and his meeting with LSU. His lawyer has been super busy. A press release date or time has not been confirmed, but I was told that Thursday afternoon is a strong possibility. I was told that it's "positive for LSU". Interpret that how you may.

I fear that the meeting tomorrow will not lead to Coach Wade's reinstatement.
Rather it will lead to his termination.
If so then why have they waited so long? They didn't have to wait for Wade to agree to meet with them to terminate him.

Or maybe the players are backing Alleva/King into a corner, reinstate our coach or we are all going to leave. Every player that has declared can still come back under the new rules. Naz and Waters are likely gone no matter what happens. The other three will be back if Wade is reinstated.
The school would not publicize a meeting if they are going to fire him because it would essentially be an admission of committing NCAA violations. If they were going to fire him, they would have done because he didn't show up for the meeting, avoiding the admission issue.

Duke’s response to Zion Williamson allegations:
“"We are aware of the allegation and, as we would with any compliance matter, are looking into it," Duke vice president and director of athletics Kevin White said in a statement. "Duke is fully committed to compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations. Every student-athlete at Duke is reviewed to ensure their eligibility. With regard to men's basketball: all recruits and their families are thoroughly vetted by Duke in collaboration with the NCAA through the Eligibility Center's amateurism certification process."
LINK
Apparently they didn’t demand a full audience with their HC and the NCAA present.
Hey LSU admin, if you’re reading this take notes. This is how you respond to allegations that your coach did something wrong.

Where does the middle man getting "more" of the pie come into this?

Will Wade’s wife makes an excellent apple pie. That’s what I interpreted from all of this.

When it is all said and done FOOTBALL is going to be square in the crosshairs of the NCAA YOU DUMBASS . FOOTBALL IS OLOL ie INSTITUTIONAL CONTROL. Welcome to Ole Miss and that frick up Alleva is so stupid that he will bring in those that will find out what happened and Wade will tell them all to Go frick Themselves leaving LSU rich and getting a better job at another school. All the while we are stuck in the 18th century with an illiterate that can’t pour puss out of his boots as one of our head coaches.
Some of you have ZERO idea what bringing in a regulatory or oversight authority REALLY means.
Here’s a tax tip - DONT INVITE THE IRS TO YOUR HOUSE TO REVIEW YOUR TAXES WHILE YOU ARE COMPLETING THEM!

LSU can tell the ncaa to back the eff off us, EVERYBODY does this, if you don't back off, we will move HEAVEN AND EARTH to break the top fb schools away from your dumb arse and form our own org. If LSU had the BALLS to get in their face about this, the ncaa would back the fLuck down, and quickly. Hopefully Wade's new lawyer has the sac to go tell the ncaa to pound sand. And by his other clients ( miller and pearl) still at their jobs, I suspect he does.

They "waited so long" so the LSU admin can always claim they wanted to hear Wade's explanation and not fire him before getting answers to their questions.
I hope Wade's "meeting" goes well tomorrow. But as another poster wrote, this sounds more like it could be an inquisition rather than a meeting.

I still cant figure out just how Wade was going to split up playing time, NBA advisers, a scholarship, Etc. with the kid's mom and family members.
You forgot the most important part of it..........the middleman. He wanted a bigger piece of the pie. And he wasn't getting offered a scholarship and playing time because he exhausted that years ago.

I love how all the old country people "know" exactly what went down.
It's actually the exact opposite. There's a large majority of this board that refuses to use it's brain and keep claiming they know exactly how it went down with a scholarship offer............which everyone gets.
Posted on 4/11/19 at 6:50 pm to Hurricane Mike
To be a fly on the wall in that room tomorrow...I would love to see Will’s face when they ask him what he meant by the middleman getting a bigger piece of the pie and the offer being slanted towards Javonte
