If this is true and I have no reason to doubt it is, I have no problem blocking the transfer. You have to nip that shite in the bud
If this was truly our thought process, we are supid as frick
"Hey guys, TCU cheated. So lets stick it to them by blocking one single player from going there, all while we take all the negative publicity for it"
Holy shite if thats the though process from our higher ups we are so screwed

Does O really want to piss off JT Curtis.
Then again, I can't think of another big high school whose recruits don't pan out more than JC.

How does anyone know it hasn't been reported already - or won't be?

I would prefer Orgeron
1. Let the kid go
2. Improve the program so are competing with BAMA,OSU, Clemson and not TCU

Know why? Bc frick TCU and frick every team in the SEC not named LSU

Is there concrete evidence that he is not allowed to go to TCU? Because unless there is i call bullshite.
"Our states top qb recruit is going there? Well you can't go there because of that!" No one, not even O is that petty.
If it's true, just sit back and wait til SJW media members Bilas and Seth Davis get ahold of this. We all know how these things end.

Curtis has put out prospects every year for decades and decades. Yeah, let's just stop recruiting one of the best hs programs in the entire country bc you don't think their players "pan-out" in college...which you are wrong about anyway. We should make sure no curtis kiDs want to go elsewhere...that is not a bad pipeline to have at all. What an idiotic post.

Right. Doing this never reflects well on the program that does it. Ends up looking petty.
Pretty sure Saban has pulled this before. Bama is fine. Plus, didn't we want a coach to be more ruthless and less like the cool uncle?

What makes you think he hasn't, or won't? Sorry, I'll let LSU know you think you need to know everything

Has nothing to do with this. Every QB on the roster rt now was recruited by Les and Cam. So you better buckle up for more shite. And I guess if o gets canned y'all will blame it on Les. Forget the fact this team is more talented on paper than the one he inherited.

I think Orgeron is a proven recruiter, motivator and DL coach.
Whether he has the other skill sets required of a HC at a high profile power program over the long haul is an unanswered question. I have doubts, but I hope he proves me wrong.
One skill set required is the exercise of good judgment on any of the many decisions he makes which reflect on the reputation/ character of the programs. A transfer is an example which we do not hesitate to comment on when another SEC coach makes a decision. Another example might be "camp blocking" (if it occurred).
I hope Da Coach O exercises his judgment on this in a way that stands scrutiny. That may require providing some facts about his decision.

quote:Of course not. If we have enough evidence to block a kids future plans, we have enough evidence to give a call to the NCAA. This seems alot more politically correct to let the NCAA compliance dept handle versus some arbitrary blocking of one school versus another.
So we should allow them to continue to tamper with players on our roster

Seriously LSU?! Seriously? You don't even play TCU! Let the unpaid amateur student go. This is flat-out WRONG.
Just FYI. Whether they tampered or not. The media is burying us for this

That's what TCU is counting on, which is why they had their mouthpiece write an article about it.

IF you insist on blocking him to TCU, get way out in front of this and define your position. Dont let the mouthpiece of your program be Shea and his sauces.

Outside of Duke Riley, how many "tough" guys has LSU had that came from Curtis?

As I said before, that Lebreton article was really lacking substance.
