I am just thankful we are getting our "home" game of the series first. Our home game of the UCLA series isn't scheduled until 2024. Don't hold your breath. We have since scheduled a neutral site game with USC in Vegas that same year. I cant imagine us playing two PAC-12 teams in the same season, and I am sure UCLA would not be opposed to us cancelling/postponing their trip to BR.

We then jump to a home/home series with Clemson in 2025 and 2026. Guess who goes on the road first.

Is the stadium in Orlando a Dome? If not, that will be one miserably hot game. No thanks. Last game I attended in Orlando was Saban’s last. Never liked Orlando even before that game. The Superdome is a great venue and will be a blast and 72 F.

It seems asst. AD [in charge of scheduling] Verge A. has a special affinity to ALWAYS have LSU play the away game first for every big OOC games...WHY you say, no one knows or even ASKS the question ! So, when 'things change' as they always do...we don't seem to host the 'return' game !

I know New Orleans isn’t Cajun, but “Cajun Kickoff” sounds away way better than “Louisiana Kickoff”

Exactly. College sports should be played in a campus. Otherwise its just minor league BS

I wish every LSU game in September was played inside in the air condition

Nothing worse than sweaty outside games that miserable month

I would guess FSU’s motivation was to gain notoriety in the NOLA area for recruiting purposes. Also, in Tiger Stadium, they would be very limited in the tickets available to their fans.

Joe Alleva said a while back that the school actually nets a bigger payday for a neutral site game than a home game, mostly because if it’s not at the home stadium then it’s not tied to the SEC television deal. So by doing Nola and Orlando we get 2 big paydays instead of 1 home game payday.

Not saying I like it, but that’s the reason.

We have seven games in TS and that is enough.

We could play all 12 games in tiger stadium and I’d still want more.

I like it because its in a dome. I love Tiger Stadium but not for the first month of the season. Rain, heat and humidity. Lots of those bitching probably dont go to the games.

Always something to bitch about. FWIW, Caping world is not a dome. I’ll be there sweating my nuts off lol

Up at half and Kinchen played absolutely light out. We still run his sideline spin move routes in the front yard. That was a memorable one.
