True. And we all will look bad if Curley Hellman hoists that trophy, as well.

He was never going to get hired. Just the audacity of the local BR media and the Billy minions suggesting he was the only option is what I’m thinking back to

The only people triggered are the ones that constantly post about Billy Napier, the head coach of Florida, on an LSU board

Billy pumpers still showing up in these threads defending their man. Consistently. Sometime I wonder if it’s Culotta himself

There are parts of culotta i like, his judging of coaching hires is definitely a huge weakness

I’m convinced some of you are not actual people. You just failed the equivalent of a CAPTCHA.

Didn't want him either and didn't buy him as a championship coach...

...BUT, to be fair, how did we think Kirby would do after his first year? Didn't they also lose to Vandy? It could still work out for Napier, but for the time being laughing at people like Glenn Guilbeau having to eat their own shite is entertaining.

Here’s the thing I was absolutely against evening interviewing him for our job. But it wasn’t because I thought dude was a bum. He just wasn’t ready for LSU and, thus, not ready for a place like Florida. When the TCU job came open, I thought that would be a perfect for him. But him at UF is the classic case of starting on 3rd and thinking you hit a tripple. He didn’t; fricker got bunted all the way over and it shows.

The amount of people on this board that were calling him a young Nick Saban, and actively lobbying for him to become the next LSU head coach was disturbing.

To me that was the most baffling part. The whole “Listen…he sounds JUST like Saban!” was just puzzling to me. I like Napier, but that dude literally sounds and acts NOTHING like Saban.

It was three years before napier had UL ranked nationally. Way to early to know if he was the right guy or not over there

It's because he's quite obviously trying to do a Saban impression every time he opens his mouth near a camera

Dude is method acting
