Brandon Weeden was a walk on at Oklahoma State.

Non QB's:

Clay Mathews - drafted in the first round by the Packers in 2009.

Jordy Nelson = drafted in the second round by the Packers in 2008.

Antonio Brown - drafted in the sixth round by the Steelers in 2010.

J.J. Watt - drafted in the first round by the Texans in 2011.

Well if there were tons of walk-ons out there with All American talent, they probably wouldn’t be walk-one in the first place.

The fact is that walk-ons can help. You don’t have to win a Hiesman and go #1 overall in the draft to be a contributor.

I know the young man very well, my daughter went to Parkview with Alex and they where friends. I have seen Alex play football for the past couple years and he has been a guest at our home numerous times, and he is great young man with a ton of talent and determination. Will he ever contribute at QB for LSU? I wouldn’t bet against him dogs

Which means he threw about 7 passes in high school. Sweet pick up.

Miles would have given him a scholarship.

I studied his film on YouTube, took me about 2 minutes but I could definitely see this kid was criminally underrated by the biased star system, hidden gem for sure

Would be funny if Alleva didn’t do the same in the search for HC.
