This thread is pathetic and why other fanbases mock us

The flag on the last play was a flag.
The missed PI, holdings, and non call targeting were bigger
We also didn’t lose because of officiating. We lost because Jake Peetz isn’t fit to coach a high school offense once he gets past the scripted first drive

Very legit. My immediate reaction was that of OP but on replay, left tackle was isolated on 3-man rush and stood DE up by his facemask. It was egregious.

You mean sec booth did
No way they eliminate a potential playoff team

quote:the penalty was on our lineman
Unless it’s blatant, they normally don’t call those penalties in Hail Mary situations. Because everyone holds and pushes.

I think every Tiget fan watching had that same thought in the back of our mind.
Contingency flag.
Contingency flag.

As much as I would like to agree with this premise, the penalty on Wire was obvious and legitimate. And in the wide open field so everyone could see it.
Don't want penalties, don't do dumb stuff like hands to the face, or put wrestling holds on DL and LBs. Learn to move your feet and use your hands within the rules. Def miss Dare Rosenthal.
Hope the new coach immediately meets with LSU Compliance and forces them to change the "weed" suspension policy. Don't see Saban's guys suspended for 1,2, or 6 games or even worse, transferring to avoid suspensions. Even the field!

Bama had more penalties than LSU.
Bama was committing multiple penalties on every play.
Many went uncalled and benefited their poor play greatly.

Y’all bitch and moan about the refs after every damn game, like we’re the only ones that get screwed by them. Y’all are such a pathetic fan base.

It was not a well officiated game but was not one sided for once at bama

The last flag was totally legit.
Cam wire was awful at times and folks need to include that assessment in their criticism of Max Johnson.
I, too, thought it was an insurance flag for Baja, but it wasn’t.
On the other hand, you cannot blame SEC fans for being hard wired to expect a screwing against Alabama.

So many LOOOOOOOOSERSSSSS. So damn many Democrats on this board.

Not only that, in 2019 they could have EASILY reversed the Thad Moss TD catch at bama, but didn't. I think the officiating is fair, but not very good. The league football scheduling, however, needs to be investigated. We play Georgia way more often than bama, and they play Vanderbilt way more than we do.

The intentional grounding call on Max when the WR and him weren’t on the same page and he cut inside and Max threw it outside was an absolute joke.

Goodness gracious!
Alabama got much the worst of the officiating. An obvious targeting on LSU not called. That was ridiculous. It was targeting bigtime!

You can’t be serious. You mean when Ward slammed his shoulder pad into the shoulder pad of Young who was a runner?

Except that it wasn't a hold or push - it was a facemask.

That flag was on the ground before Max threw the ball

The refs missed several calls but the weren’t the reason for the loss as they have been in other games.
No, it wasn’t targeting!
