What would you guys like to see more of in terms of play calls? I thought that screen last week was a walk in for brossette he just got held up a little too long

I'd like to see a naked bootleg now and then inside the 5

I really don't know. Maybe keep the tempo up?
Our red zone TD woes are perplexing. I'm starting to wonder if having Tracy makes us less aggressive knowing a FG is all but guaranteed.

I like bootleg w run pass option. I like the throwback tightend pass that always works. I like the jet sweep inside the 5. Its our glaring weakness for sure

I think we need to use the zone read more in the red zone. Joe pulling it is deadly when we get our RB's going. No question we get a little conservative knowing Tracy is automatic.

Definitely agreee with the zone read. Also maybe they should dust off the old Canada jet sweep when they get down there.

Late in the 4th to go up three scores they definitely conceded and was absolutely agreeing with it. Tracy is a great luxury to have.

Shotgun double twins with the back set to the boundary. Count numbers presnap, then motion from the slot toward the field. Speed sweep to the field or zone read. If they collapse on the read, burrow is a beast at getting north and south on that backside to the boundary. Bootleg and speed option are also tough into the boundary, with or without motion.
I like us in the gun in the red zone because of Burrow’s ability to run. It somewhat nullifies the reduced field area by making them have to account for the QB. I don’t like our boot package nearly as much from the I because we have lesser athletes at receiver in that personnel package, and the web has his back the the line for so long. It’s much harder to evade them coming off of the edge. I hope that we are saving the shotgun redzone offense for the gumps, because they have particularly struggled to account for the qb in the past.

1. Annexation of Puerto Rico
2. Oop de Oop

I thought about this as well. The tempo was killing UGA between the 20s, but it seemed like we went back to the huddle when we got into scoring range, and things would screech to a stop.
Last year's red zone offense wasn't good either when we didn't have reliable kicking, so I'm not sure what the solution is.

The quick slants alone have probably won us a game or two already just because they've allowed us to keep at least a couple of critical drives going by setting up second and third and manageable. That and the screens keep the defense honest, plus working sometimes.

About the only place the offense needs to get it figured out is the red zone right now. Nobody is going to complain coming off a 36-16 bashing of UGA, but we really struggle to put the ball in the end zone, luckily we dont miss any FGs once we get there, on the flip side.
Hovering around 50% for TD% is concerning.

use our height advantage over the middle

The guaranteed 3 makes LSU less aggressive.

The automatic score play.

that allows you to pass, spread it out some, and if QB keeps AND use motion man (TE) you can put two lead blockers in on the play using the RB. You get the power of an I-form, and the benefits of some deciet (RPO) all while spreading them out a little.
I'm not opposed to wildcat, but only with 2 downs and inside the 5.
The weapon we haven't used is 4 WRs, the two biggest in slot/flanker spots (use body as shield on slant) and your two longest jumpers on outside for fade, backshoulder, maybe a dig or two.

I'd love to see more TE usage. We got 2 freaks at the position. I'd also like to see us consider RZ as 4 down territory.
IF we fix our RZ woes, we will be unstoppable... book it.
Funny saying this, but I have full confidence in the coaching crew to fix this by the time Moo State and the Gumps come to town.

Bootleg and screen pass or both good, but I like a pass over the middle to tight end. Or anywhere on the field to the tight end.
