"Trey may have had a few questionable ones, Travin, myself," Dupre said. "Definitely we're guys who work extra hard to catch the football and [the Alabama game] isn't something that we want to keep doing. It definitely won't happen. I know I'll work harder, I know Trey will work very hard, Travin, and we'll get that fixed and it won't happen again."

I have zero doubt that they can get this fixed.

Don't mean to sound negative, but it should've been fixed before losing the biggest game of the year.

Mini Wes Welker is the one who needs to work the hardest. Those 3rd down drops hurt... alot

Landry and Beckham in 2012 had the dropsies, look how that turned out. Next year these guys are going to blow up. I'd bet we start seeing by the bowl game.

in trey's defense. one 3rd down and 4 if i remember right, he ran a 4-5 yard route and as he was turning around jennings threw the ball with a ton of velocity outside his right shoulder.

should have been an easy throw and catch but it was made very difficult and wasn't completed.

Trey quinn has been a huge dissapointment with ball handling. Hopefully, Jazz Ferguson can take his place in the slot next year.

I agree he needs to work hard, I put some of the blame on the coaches for putting a true freshman in that position in one of the biggest games of the year. I do think he is similar to Welker, said that the first time I saw him. Of course, it could just be that we normally don't see white guys in receiver positions, they tend to be found in the TE spot.

I just can't see anything about his game that would remind me of Welker.

Watching him run is like watching a less confused/concussed Welker run. Very impressed with the kid. Regardless of age, simple 5 yrd slants that hit you in the gloves from AJ NEED to be caught. Its not like they convereted him from a Kicker to the slot guy.

He's white.

OMG IT'S JACKIE CHAN

For real though, this season was always the setup for next season. Outside of Harris, all these guys getting tons of reps and play time right now will bode well for the dream team of 2015.

You don't want this to become a habit, but drops happen. Cooper will be the first WR taken in the draft, and he had the dropsies. Keep working guys and look the ball into the tuck.

BS. He's on the team, and he is expected to perform. LSU plays Freshman in big spots and they shine.

He blew it, will use it as a learning experience, and improve.

And he looked like Welker, b/c Welker drops a lot of passes. The drops can hit even the best players. Look at Landry and Beckham. Hell, look at Colston who has had some of the best hands in the NFL for almost a decade. He can't catch anything right now.

Hell, Lance Moore had spectacular hands and he dropped some big passes for the Saints. Cost Brees the touchdown streak

Really? You want to put that much responsibility on a kid that was sitting in a H.S. class last year? That's like saying Harris shouldn't have blown the Auburn game...C'mon Man!

Quinn will never drop three in a game the rest of career at LSU. I love the people who are already calling to have him replaced by another incoming freshman after 7 games.

I agree. Some of our best/most succesful receivers had drop problems their freshman year. Dwayne Bowe, Early Doucet, Odell Beckham, Brandon Lafell.
