I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion but you add absolutely nothing positive to this place.

It's one thing to be apprehensive but it's another to not support the team at all.

This place would be far more positive without you and if you left, the tiger faithful would not miss you because you are not true fans.

If you think they are going to lose just dont post. If that's what gives you joy then you live a sad life.

This country would be far better off without people criticizing our politicians.

If you've criticized Obama, or any politician, you are not a true American. You don't care about this country at all.

It does get very aggravating. Nothing we can do about it, but still very aggravating.

The in game thread was atrocious. Poster outright calling players shite. These posters don't deserve a winning program. Which is what LSU is.

Great post, only "real fans" can ignore all the problems we have and continue believing we're a great team.
Or, go kill yourself ASAP as nobody will miss you either

You just said LSU isn't a great team, after beating SC and A&M back to back. Who is better than LSU? The only team at this point in the season you can legitimately say is better than LSU is Florida, and I'm sure that will change soon enough (SEC championship). You can argue any other team being better, but until they play it's just a fan telling people what they think. You may as well be spittin' Lou Holts.

Do the positigers actually watch the game w/o ever complaining about player performance, coaching, penalties, execution etc. ?

I have never seen people not bitch about how games are going when we aren't playing well. I question just how good a fan you can be if it doesn't bother you seeing your team continue to be bad at the same things week after week.

Our weakness over the last 4 years has been our passing game. It hasn't improved. Is it wrong to expect improvement in the one area that prevented us from winning it all last year?

There is nothing wrong with wanting improvements. Mettenberger has been awful in SEC play, and Brad punted badly last week. I'm all for complaining about legitimate problems. It's the people who insult out student athletes and act like they aren't even trying who need to shut up. Those kids put more heart and soul into these games than any of us ever will, and while it is fair to criticize, it is not fair to be nasty to them. Blame the coaches, blame the players, whatever, but some of the things people say here about our players are just messed up.

This isn't saying a whole lot after what FLA did to Sc yesterday. LSU is a good team with a great D. But I believe if we play like yesterday we will struggle to beat Bama.

You know, I came home after work and pulled up this website. From the game thread to all the postgame comments, I could have sworn we'd lost the game, and were well on our way to a losing season. The word "Bama" appears on our pages more than the word "Tigers".

It's fricking pathetic. It's like our fanbase has become Ole Miss West. It's never about us, it's how we appear to measure up to "that other team".

South Carolina not an impressive win? We beat the snot out of their players, and that was probably the main reason they looked so poor against Florida. This week we created more havoc than the Gators did against Manziel.

We just came through a 3 game stretch, 2 on the road, against ranked teams, and won 2 of three. That's pretty good, better than Carolina did.

We have superior talent to both UF and SC yet went 1-1. If you truly can't understand the frustrations of the fanbase you clearly don't know the game. The knowledgeable fans have been critical of the passing game at LSU for 4 years. JJ was the excuse and Mett was the answer. When are you idiots going to realize it isn't the QB it is the system? It cost us on 1-9 and nothing has improved... If anything the passing game has regressed.

CLM coaching roots are on the offensive side of the ball. The offense has great talent so you and all the other positigers tell me what the problem is?

Players?
Execution?
Scheme?
Player development?

3 of the 4 are directly related to coaching.

It's also interesting that the players develop and execute defensively.

I really don't get why the positigers can't fathom our offense is inept and acts like it is not a problem. The rest of the CFB world knows it is the only thing holding LSU back why can't some of our own fans realize it also?

I don't mind the ones that talk about areas we can improve in. That is not a problem and should be discussed.

The ones I hate are the ones that can't wait till the Tigers fall behind yesterday and they come on here and proclaim all kinds of crazy things. The sky is falling, the end is near, Miles is garbage.

He is 82-19 here at LSU. Not to bad.

Everyone points to 1/9 as proof he is not a good coach, but I can point out 13 dates from last year that shows great coaching.

So you watched both LSU/Bama games last year?

Which coach had a different gameplan for the second match-up?

I also know Bama had more talent last year. The draft proved that. The biggest difference in the second game was McCarron. He made some great throws that no one expected he could make. Miles took a team with less talent and led them to victory in a hostile enviroment. I am not going to say that 1/9 Miles did a good job because he didn't, but I am not going to dismiss all the good games he has coached here and keep harping on the one negative from last year.

The draft isn't a true indicator of which team has more talent. Only for draft eligible players. Both teams play soph and freshmen.I think the talent level was pretty even. We had a wr that went in the 2nd round who was a non factor.

Let's play devils advocate... What if our offense was top
5 in the nation and the defense was terrible yet we still were winning at the same rate would the fanbase want the defense to improve or is it just acceptable since we are winning?
