3? Losing one game is not indicative of a teams strength. No college basketball expert calls the sec mediocre this year. It was regarded as one of the best all year.

Our preseason schedule was one of the best, too.

Wade haters will be happy with 10 wins a year, they’ll just keep blaming him and aren’t really basketball fans so it’s a win win.

Lol

Wade set this program back years and you support that.
Clearly not an lsu fan.
Go put your wade Jammie’s on and hug your Wade pillow

Wade haters

There are Wade Fan Boys that don't seem to grasp the fact that what Wade did is different than other coaches. He was sloppy and stupid and is cost him his job. It (potentially) cost LSU a lot more.

On the other side of the argument there are Wade critics who understand what he did and, even if he is a great coach (??), he had to go. I don't think there is a gaggle of Wade Haters like there is a gaggle of Wade Fan Boys.

But honestly, after the first year the new guy has to pick up where we left off, there’s no excuse anymore because it’s just been done.

Fair statement. I don't think anybody disagrees.

Set the program back to what? 2-16 in SEC play and no remote chance of an NCAA Tournament appearance? Back to back last place finishes? 6 NCAAT in 24 years? If the program was “set back” it is only because Wade took it farther than it had been in quite awhile. Far enough to actually be “set back. Previously, it wasn’t good enough to be “set back”.

At worst, the program reset back to where it was before Wade took the job. It’s not as if (pre-Wade) LSU was a consistently good program in the 25 years prior to Wade.

It’ll be a new dark age for LSU basketball and you can thank Wade for that.

It was a dark age for LSU basketball prior to Wade.
He raised the bar and you guys still shite on him.
Even with the catastrophic season we went as far as Ky and several others, without our Coach.

I can tell you that the 2022-23 team does not guard the three point shot and they play street ball. They have no discipline. I just wanted to be the first of many more to come from this group of basketball geniuses.

They werent even good with him. Finished middle of the pack in the big 12 and won one game in the tourney. They haven't been reinvent since Eddie Sutton.

So we went 9-9 in a mediocre conference with a bad out of conference schedule.

Yet we ended up with a 6 seed.

You can’t actually be this stupid.

It should be same as it’s been for Wade the last 4 years. Finish in the top 4 spots in conference and make the NCAA tournament.

He’s met that 3 out of 5 years and the 5th year he finished 5th in the league and got a 6th seed.

I’m sure all the Woodward apologist will be here to make excuses why McMahon can never be held to this standard, and they’ll say stupid shite like “don’t get us sanctioned.”

If the expectation is lowered than it is an indictment on the hire and the AD’s commitment to continuing the upward trajectory.
