O's buyout wasn't anywhere close to what BK's would be after this season...which would be roughly ~$50M or so. I doubt BK would leave that much on the table by resigning...even if LSU wanted him to, and I think even if he were to take a "settlement", like O did, it would be MUCH higher than the ~$17M O agreed to.
LSU is not going to commit tens of millions to fire BK, an additional few million to fire his staff, commit tens of millions to bring in a new HC and staff, AND commit ~$20M for a roster next season.
Unless he absolutely wants to leave on his own accord, BK is here for at least another 2 seasons

You think Norvell would come to LSU. After last year's 2-10 season FSU was patient with him. Last year was all on Norvell. He just lost to Virginia.
