Southeastern will in all likelihood be more competitive than Southern and Grambling were in years past. I expect the Lions to be within two TDs at the break.

Changing some things and he needs to be in there so we can evaluate the changes properly.

Only if it’s 14-0. They are terrible.

Holy shite. I can promise you, if MVB threw fro 480 yds an 7 TDs he would not have a QB controversy. The reason Nuss is playing is because he is not actually "hurt." This was an issue at camp. If he was actually that hurt or limited he would have sat out against Tech or he would be sitting this entire week. He is playing because hes not injured.
If Kelly does sit him for the game then that means he is injured. Matt Flynn sat in '07 because he was actually injured at multiple points with different injuries that season. Nuss is not injured. People really need to stop taking this and running with it.

Congratulations on your good posture, but you spelled “stooped” wrong.

I would say even our fans aren't that dumb... but I still remember the shite for brain boomer fans behind me... HATED Jayden and he came out in the middle of a blow out and Nuss got some reps... Nuss completed one pass and they went nuts saying... "there our new starting qb!!!"
....Nuss in fact did not start and Jayden went on to win the heisman

I believe Nuss needs the work to continue to get a rhythm with the receivers. I think he believes this should be a scrimmage and that Nuss will have the time to get in that rhythm without having to run for his life.Give him a couple of series and get a big lead and sit him. That way he isn't just cold going into Ole Miss and he has some positive plays that he sees prior to that game.As long as playing is not worsening the torso issue I don't see a problem with him playing a few series.

What if LSU opens with three straight 3-and-outs, like last week? It could happen.

This QB injury narrative smells a lot like the old secret playbook.

Probably completely off base but I think CBK is insistent on playing Nuss this weekend because he’s terrified of a qb controversy. If MVB starts and carves up SELU with his legs and puts up decent passing stats, he’ll be second guessed by fans and players alike. Granted, I’m a Nuss fan and believe his upside is greater than MVB. I think CBK is trying to protect his players from scrutiny and controversy and I can understand that.
Bro stop.
Nuss should not play this week but if he does it is what it is. Blind Eye could probably be the QB and we beat SLU this weekend.

Shoulda kept this theory to yourself....

These don't seem even remotely related. Did Les ever say that he had a secret playbook to the media?

The logic here is,…….non existent. Are you forgetting fall camp? Oh yeah, where Nussmeier won the competition with a torso injury.
There is a longing for more chaos and controversy in our football program from people on this board that is impossible to understand. Here is the only place there is a QB controversy.

At this writing you have been downvoted 321 times. However, I side with you. BK has shown to lose it at press conferences. Imagine a barrage of questions about MVB if he has a great game and Nuss struggles vs Ole Miss. BK would go insane. We know hands down, MVB is the superior runner. Nuss will never be better than MVB as a runner. Long term though, Nuss has a better chance to go further than Nuss. This season.
