Only excuse, you don't blow out a top 25 team and lose ground. Don't matter in grand scheme of things right now but only explanation. Especially putting BYU ahead of that team at worst should have stayed at 10

disagree. i have no issue with florida leaping us. ole miss beat us so im begrudgingly ok with them staying just ahead of us.
the dumbest thing i see is BYU ahead of us.. but we are the top rated one loss team.

I haven’t looked at a CFB poll since 2019 because they’re irrelevant and only serve to push discussion. Win your games, you’ll be in the playoff and can achieve all your goals period.

1.sports writers opinions don’t matter squat to me. They are legends in their own minds.
2.Coaches poll doesn’t matter to me. Coaches that vote watch hardly any football other than the teams they play, plus they get staff members to vote on that most of the time.

The polls are an aggregate of multiple voters. There is no conspiracy. It doesn't work that way.

The rankings suck but this is a heavy reach. LSU has not played anyone half decent and the one team they did...they lost. Who cares about the rankings in week 4? It will sort itself out.

That’s exactly the situation.
No one ahead of LSU lost except Ole Miss, so the only logical thing to do is drop Ole Miss to +1 of LSU and then put Florida in front of them.
In most weeks LSU would move up, but no one in front of them except the team that beat them did anything to warrant dropping. AP poll is just a weekly chest thump though, means nothing.

I don’t think so. I think rankings this early always put them in a bind when teams beat each other.
