Booty's first year (99) was bad, but his 00 was a lot better (honestly not a great year for SEC QBs though). He was All SEC (by the writers I think), but still got benched for Ro in the Peach Bowl.
Botty was average, overrated and he shite on LSU to leverage bonus money from the Marlins, frick him

Booty was not at all better than Ro. He was 1st team all SEC because the QBs in the conference that year sucked. Rex split the QB duties with Jesse Palmer and led the conference in passing TDs with 21. Lorenzen was the only QB over 2500 yards.

Jamarcus is #2, Mett is 6, Etling is not top 10, Johnson and Brennan are in the late teens. Yeah Booty is top 10 or 12.

I’m pretty sure Booty was an all SEC QB. Too low for this list.

I keep reading how Booty is better than people saying, yet wasn’t he benched during the 99 season and LSU won their only SEC game vs Arkansas? Rohan should have been starting for the ‘99 and 2000 seasons.

OP loses all credibility over the Jamarcus Russel rating. He was #1 until Burrow showed up, easy. People only remember his NFL flame out but in college, Russel is closer to Burrow in skill than he is to anyone else on that list.

I see your point from a talent standpoint. I’d have no problem putting JR at 2 if we take championships and wins out of the equation.
Posted on 8/13/22 at 5:32 pm to TIGERS58030719
Booty is better than the 7 above him.

How could you possibly justify putting Etling ahead of Mettenberger?

Good point. I’ll change it.
