He had Lee Feinswog on today talking LSU basketball and Matt said once Wade has success here , that he would go to a " basketball" school... North Carolina, Kansas etc... anyone else believe this?

No shite.

If Wade does well enough here for Kanss or UNC to come calling, I'll be happy.

I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me

Probably makes sense IMO

LSU is a good school with good resources

But I am sure a lot of coaches would want to coach at historic basketball powerhouses

Wade is gonna be here for a long time. He knows this program can absolutely be a powerhouse and he can be a legend here. No need to go anywhere else. He sees this as a sleeping giant

Exactly, one could only hope he would have that much success.

This guy has been hyped to the moon before coaching a single game more than any coach I've ever seen around here or anywhere really.

I think you've got the purple glasses on if you don't think someone doing well here who got a shot at a basketball history rich school came calling he wouldn't think about it.

The only stepping stone lsu would be for is the nba or a true blue blood like kentucky or UNC or duke or kansas or ucla.

That can be said for every team in college basketball.

No one would come to LSU, do well, then leave for Michigan.

We are no different than florida with Donovan. We have everything you need to sustain an elite problem, and play in an easy conference.

Lets not jump the gun here.... He hasnt coached a single game at LSU..... I think he'll do well but we cant gauge his success till the season starts

I’m totally fine with that if he can build a foundation before he bails. He absolutely deserves to be at a major program

I think it's more like a Skip Bertman comparison son.

I hope you're right:

1. If Wade leaves for a better job, that means he had success.

2. If Wade is a great coach, LSU fans would still run him off the first chance they get.

I'm optimistic, he said in interview the other day that he will have this program running totally his way in 3 years...
