I wouldn't do that to yourself. I mean, I guess it can happen, but everyone should have known this was going to be a tough rebuilding year. BK walked into a mess of a program. It can be fixed, but it likely won't be this year.
Just sit back and watch who emerges as the leaders and playmakers. Hope to see improvement and look forward to next year being better. Just enjoy this season for what it is.

People think that simple hiring a great coach was going to magically fix the issues and ignore the monumental rebuild. The roster wasn’t this bad when Saban took over, but after 8 months on the job, ppl expected LSU to go out and beat the brakes off FSU.

People have quickly forgotten that we had 10 players drafted from last year's team including 3 on the OL - Ingram, Deculus, and Hines. We had no linemen on the roster with experience at C.
2 DB's were drafted and 3 transfered out.
Our best LB was drafted and another 3 or 4 transfered out or left the team.
Those are our weak spots.

Was reading some comments on Twitter and an article about it and was shocked to see nearly every comment was praising this person and shitting on Brian Kelly. Wtf? That was completely unprofessional.

Anyone with half a football brain should have saw this coming. LSU has been bad for two years. They actually looked better than last years season opener. It’s just 99% of the posters here live in a 2019 fantasy world. And media are a bunch of Midwest hacks that think LSU doesn’t deserve BK so they want him to fail.

Admittedly, I didn't really pay attention to Kelly much before we hired him, but did the media go as hard on him as they are now when he was at ND? It just comes across as sour grapes from all of them.

It’s unfair to make any comparisons of our current team with our 2019 Championship football team. Coach Kelly is in a serious mess that was inherited from the previous team with only 39 scholarship players in our bowl game. To make matters even worst is he still has players (only a few) that have not completely bought into the new scheme of things ( the Kelly way ).
Special teams was a nightmare, 3rd down defense was a nightmare, offensive line play until up tempo was a nightmare but
somehow we almost pulled off the win. I’m encouraged because I’m sure Coach Kelly is embarassed by the things that obviously went wrong. Coach Kelly is stuck with somethings he can not change this year but this in my humble opinion is a three year makeover and the fans must be reasonable and give the Coach more respect then he’s getting currently.

Who cares? The national media has hated LSU since 2003 when the man they currently love, Saban, was here.
I don't recall the media then dissing Saban like this when he went to Bama and promptly lost to ULM.
Again, LSU is a Tier 2 school in the South. The MSM is made up of people who HATE you with a passion. They love nothing more than to shite on LSU. Hell, they have completely altered the landscape of CFB twice because of what LSU did (2003 and 2011).
