hen he and nuss did find an open WR/TE, they dropped SO MANY passes that hit them in their hands.

Pro Football Focus had them down for officially 7 drops. I thought it was more than that.

officially 7 but I know I saw a few more that could have been called drops.

but 7 drops is INSANE for the supposed talent at WR LSU has. Taylor dropped two passes on one drive.

A lot of drops from inaccurate throws to far out in front or behind

Such irony.
Makes you wonder if nobody else wanted to take the job despite millions more in compensation.

Rabalais-stopped reading. I heard him on Finebaum one day and he had the worst take on actual football problems that I have ever heard. Think he should be critiquing restaurants.

. Max looks worse with ATM but Peetz made him look decent.

So Peetz is the answer? He’s better than Denbrock and Kelly?
We had a losing record in SEC play last year. Peetz was one reason why.

Max got hammered last year. He was slow on the trigger. We threw a lot because we got behind a lot.

I have seen Daniels steadily progress this season through the first 4 games, he took a major step backwards.

Hopefully this is something that they can correct before Tennessee

Turn in your sarcasm detector. If Brennan was a good QB he would have won the job. Kelly knows what he’s doing.

Sorry. This board has been wild since Saturday. It’s getting tougher to differentiate the sarcasm from the people who actually believe some of the BS.

This, he has yet to play a complete consistent game this year, but he looked like he was getting a little better each game. But the Auburn game was just bad. Honestly, im glad he had that type of game before Tennessee, a little extra motivation to be better cant hurt.

Did I say that? My point is that Denbrock is not getting the best out of Daniels because his scheme does not play to his strengths. Slow developing plays, no spread, basic route trees. I'm not seeing Denbrock change the offense to help his QB other than sporadically going tempo and going away from the pass (3 attempts/0 completions) by Daniels in the 2nd half.

Both of them? Tennessee and Alabama are the only “quality opponents” left on our schedule. Ole Piss is NOT a quality opponent by any sense of the imagination. They are overrated as frick and barely beat 3 shitty teams. A&M is complete garbage. Florida is a dumpster fire with a coach that will be fired in 2 years because he’s crap. Arkansas is average at best. These are just the facts. Don’t care if you don’t like it or how much you want to overrate Ole Miss right now.
Kentucky ain't shitty this year.
Your posts read like you're a pissed off kid about to take a gun to school.

Offensive scheme and resulting QB play was awful

Denbrock is not impressing at all. He has no idea how to adapt his scheme to the talent we have. Terrible hire.

Denbrock hasn’t thrilled , but the preparation by receivers and QB’s are much more of a concern. They need more work to get their heads straight.

Dropping a dual threat qb back every play instead of running RPO is stupid.

It's not stupid at all. They are trying to improve the kid. I'm sure when they recruited him they agreed on a plan to try to get him to the pros, otherwise the kid would not have come. They are working to try to get him to function better out of the pocket, then when the game was in doubt, they pivoted to what they knew they could do.

That's great coaching!

I posted on score board that Myles would have had 250 yards and 3TDs in first half.

No, Choupique was correct - if Miles was the QB Auburn would have pinned their ears back and disrupted the pocket a lot more. Fear of Daniels' scrambling is what kept them in their lanes.

Well let’s just say that 85 yards passing is beyond embarrassing. I saw numerous times where Daniels looked solely at Taylor and Taylor only. WRs breaking free and he has already released the ball. To Taylor. Needs much more patience.

OR

Run RPO and give him 1-2 options per play

Screens
Slants

And just to keep D honest, an occasional 1 on 1 deep ball, when available

the scheme IS stupid. long developing pass plays. no slant. no screens. no crosses. no roll outs. very little quick release passes.

This is such bullshite! Watch the game again, buddy. They ran much of the above A LOT. They completed quick slants and missed several others.

BTW, Only a moron OC would have run screens or roll outs against a seven man zone.

The d line plays an entirely different style against Brennan. Against Daniels they were keeping containment and letting Daniels sit in the pocket. If Myles is playing they are just pinning there ears back and getting to the QB because they aren’t worried about his running ability.
It's like you never heard of a screen pass or handing the ball off to the running back.

So we are going to kill the draft stock of our receivers on the prayer of getting JD a free agent contract?
