He’s the man. Whoever’s the best at what they do, [Crews is] that right now in baseball… I really hope everybody understands what they’re watching right now because it’s not out there anywhere [else]. It may never come along again.”

We've been fortunate to watch some of the best come through at LSU, not just baseball, but basketball(Shaq) and football(Burrow, Fournette), also! Let's savor the time Crews has left here and realize what a SPECIAL talent he is!

It’s like watching a video game when he hits. He’s just incredible

And more importantly he seems to be a great kid who is interested in using his platform to help others

To think as LSU fans we have seen Ben McDonald, Todd Walker, Eddie Furniss, Brandon Larson and now Dylan Crews in an LSU baseball uniform is a true privilege.

Take Ole Miss for example, this weekend they were fawning over Delucci as being their greatest player in program history, he was from Baton Rouge and Skip didn’t even want him

Crews is the goat. If he brings home a natty I think it’ll be undisputed

Yep, been following LSU baseball for decades, he's the best I have seen at this level.

Those that are new to the game, embrace it... this isn't happening again in a long time.

I dunno. His OPS is dangerously close to slipping below 1.500.

There’s zero reason he should not win every award available at this level. His number will be retired.

And to think this Tenn fan/writer had this to say in January:

Dylan Crews is the most overrated player in college baseball

That’s not needed. Look at Crew’s postseason numbers. His teams haven’t reached Omaha, but it sure hasn’t been his fault. He’s done everything he can do.

He was perhaps the regional MVP in Oregon, and I think he hit 2 homers at Tennessee in the Supers.

Last year, he had a great regional and was key in a couple of our comeback wins.

Todd Walker didn’t win a college World Series by himself.

The story that Ben told during the Saturday game about Crews and Skenes going into CJJ's office and asking what they could do after they leave to ensure this continues says all you need to know about the character of these guys.

Don't forget about Alex Bregman in that group also.

Dude is almost baseball’s Gretzky. I know that says a lot but I said what I said.

He is a successful pro no doubt, but statistically speaking at the college level I’m not sure if he is in those guy’s category.

Although not new, this is what I said/felt about Burrow n 2019. I went to every home game and Bama game that year because early on I thought I was watching that generational guy and it just got bigger every week. Crews can do this too this year for all you baseball enthusiasts! It also helps when they are also surrounded by other great players that help build the moments.

Furniss way over-rated. Bregman too.
