Well yeah. I’d be a lot more confident, even though I might be skeptical he could maintain it in years when the SEC strength is more typical.

But yeah. It would be a lot easier to let the MSU arse kicking slide had he not also lost to Troy. You just have to win games like that, even if it’s ugly.

Does he keep Canada if we win those two games? I would be more in favor of O if we were 11-2 last year and kept Canada for this season.

Canada was a large part of the reason we lost to inferior teams.

His gimmicky offense leveled the playing field for teams with inferior talent.

LSU's run game and YPP made Les and Cam look like Chip Kelly on offense.

After that, I wouldn't want Canada back regardless. He shouldn't get another year because Aranda's awesomeness helped LSU win games in which the offense failed to show up.

How prepared do you have to be as running back to run to the correct hole on a play during the 10th game of the season?

No, because we still got buttfricked by an average State team and were never in the game against Bama.

So, if LSU would've went 11-2, you would still be coming on here every day with all your compadres talking about how horrible LSU is because of the head coach?

I hope I never meet any of you miserable "fans" in real life. Y'all need your own board. The Miserable "Fan" Board

Yes, because 0 is a fricking bum. His record has been padded by beating really shitty teams.

And I hope you "what if 'fans'" actually wake up one day.

I think losing to Troy changed a lot of thoughts, or confirmed thoughts for some, about Ed O.

Bowl game would have been nice from a record standpoint and should have won but losing to Troy is a gut punch.

There's a pretty big difference just by winning the Troy game honestly. That one is just a huge black eye he's going to have to shake by beating more than 1 good team this season (And of course not dropping one to someone like LA tech).

Not sure this argument in any direction actually helps your case.

What gives? Maybe LSU doesn't have as much talent as some of you claim?

The NFL(SU) disagrees

It's just like this year. All the hater/trolls are out in force screaming how anything less than 10-2 is unacceptable, because lsu is better than everyone else they play based on an innaccurrate chart prepared by one of the boards finest.

We score on 3rd down on either of the 2 times we were on the goal line and it doesn’t matter.

We score more than 10 points the whole rest of the game it doesn’t matter

Also how does O and E get a break for their RB not knowing the fricking play coming out of a timeout? Like what did they do in that timeout?

Losing to a state team like LaTech would more than likely bury O. That absolutely cannot happen.

If LSU beats Wisconsin and Auburn in close games, Les miles is still the coach when we play Florida and we probably win that game. Very likely end up a 1 loss team.

But speculation doesn't change the past so what's the point? O dug himself a hole, he needs to climb back out some will never be on board. The rational amongst us will reevaluate as we have more to evaluate. Not trending well but too many unknowns to properly reevaluate just yet.

Like Dave's post earlier, just because you get a certain position or positions into the NFL, it takes all positions to win championships. I believe lsu is building back towards that.

They definitely change, but there is still a close win vs Troy and a 30 pt loss to State and, thus, cause for concern (would not be sold on him). 11-2 definitely makes a difference, though.
