Because he said he wasn't pulling his weight. I'm no hater though.

Paul wants Paul retired. All that really matters.

The man wants to retire. Why would we stop him just because he got us one more trip to the CWS? You want a guy coaching that isn't interested in giving it his all anymore?

Yep he’s gotta go.

He’s eroded fan expectations to the point where there are actual fans on this board that say it’s unrealistic to expect LSU to be in Omaha every year.

I’ll post that again: LSU fans now believe it’s unrealistic to expect LSU to be in Omaha every year.

That’s what Paul has done to this program.

He’s gotta go

It is unrealistic. Some of you need to realize this isn't 1993 anymore. The SEC is a fricking bloodbath every year. LSU should expect to be in a Super every year. Omaha, nah

Your entire premise is nonsense. He retired. He has significant health issues. He has lost the 24/7 fire that is required by his own admission . His exit has already been a feather in his cap because he was so ridiculously classy and then he curb stomped a regional , EVERYBODY, even his detractors want him to go out on top , and have a place of honor and respect at LSU forever.

As for being a “ hater “ it’s just time. Hate has nothing to do with it . Les is the parallel. It’s just time.

You poor poor person. You have been victimized by Paul. You are a victim.

Say his name y’all: poncho villa

He is just one of many victim of Paul that now believes it is acceptable for LSU to be a mediocre baseball program.

I appreciate Paul's service, but its time for him to step down. I gather he is ready and I think he will be happier retired and able to concentrate on his health.

Yes. The regular season was a failure. We went "one and done" in the SEC tournament with our ace on the mound. Then we prayed for a spot in a regional.

That may be acceptable at Kentucky or Missouri, but not at a baseball blueblood, like LSU.
