Is it possible to win 4 in the next 10 years if we win this one?

4 in 10 seems awfully aggressive, especially with the current state of college baseball. I do think we eventually catch USC but that’s more to do with the fact that USC seemingly doesn’t give 2 shits about baseball anymore.

Yes, but why the deadline of the next ten years?

Highly doubtful.

We haven't seen anything dynastic like that since the 90's and I just can't see something like that again.

Possible-yes. Likely-not in this day of NIL and Portal.

We will catch them one of these years. The key is whether SoCal will take baseball seriously or not.

I don’t see that happening but if Johnson stays until retirement I think they catch them by the time he hangs it up.

4 more in 10 years would be another run like the 90's. I'm good with that

I think LSU can do it but it’ll take longer than 10 years. Closer to 20/25

Maybe but that short of timeframe extremely difficult.

2 of our titles (Warren Morris and 23 Tre Morgan) we were 1 epic play from finishing runner up.

Its extremely difficult to win 1 title look at FSU 0-24 in Omaha.

Their last title was in 1998 and the prior one was 20 years before that.. It seems they have fallen off the map. We will catch them.

LSU has the advantage in this arena, about the only good thing for LSU I see in this mess, while college baseball outside of Baton Rouge isn't near as big as what LSU fans think it is, to the young travel balling Braxtyns, Jayden's, Bradynns, and Aydens, LSU is like the Yankees of the 70s when free agency exploded, I believe, based on recent history reputation, that this gives LSU a big advantage in attracting the best free agents out there

4 in 10 years would be pretty hard to do with the current state of the sport.

Seth Etherton getting 3" off outside corners helped this cause.

Side note: that was the last CWS that Long Beach St. participated in as well.

I can't see any program winning NCs that consistently. Too many programs care these days, and there hasn't even been a repeat champion since USCe.

I was at the CWS in 1998. Man, we were rolling and then the weather changed and USC starting mashing the ball. Just think, if we had held on and won it again in 1998, we'd be at 8 and USC at 11.

Jay pulling that off would be like Saban going to Alabama and outdoing the Bear. Never thought it would’ve been done

It’s seemingly impossible but that would be something if Jay went on to win 5 titles in 10 years like Skip did
