It is getting close to the time to name a starting quarterback. LSU needs to have a starter named with at least 14 days till the Fla. State game.

Selecting and naming aren’t the same thing.
I do Think 2 weeks out we get into true game prep and they’ll have a guy.

I think he knows who he wants but has no obligation to tell anyone. The players see it and know. I wouldn't be surprised if he says anything until Monday of game week.

From all accounts Jayden has been taking most of the first team reps since 2 day of fall camp when a report came out that after the media left JD took most if not all the first team snaps.
So yes Nuss is taking first team reps because of necessity not because it's still a race.
Just my opinion

You clearly do not understand football strategy. BK knows who the starter is right now. But, does not have to announce till game time or the night before. Keep FSU practicing for both. FSU IS wondering who it may be also. Keep them thinking. GEAUX TIGERS !

That would mean Kelly is not the coach many of us think he is.
But I am starting to think Daniels is the likely starter as well. I do think he was the front runner as soon as it was apparent the Brennan's heart wasn't in it or that his injuries had set him back (not sure what exactly was up there), possibly before.
