When Baton Rouge native and new LSU athletic director Scott Woodward took the podium on Tuesday when he was introduced as the next leader of LSU Athletics, LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron was in attendance. The coach of the Tigers met with media after to discuss the homecoming of another Louisiana native, his thoughts on the hire and how LSU can improve in-game experience.

Q&A: Ed Orgeron on Scott Woodward's Louisiana homecoming

quote:

EO: "No, I met him down here. He has a camp in Port Fourchon, which is near my hometown there. He's duck hunter, fisherman. He knows a lot of people that I know down there, but today was the first time that I actually sat down and had a conversation with him."

Feels good to be back

Probably gonna need to cool this shite unless he plans on scoring vs Bama this year.

My favorite part was when O said “I’m aware of the expectstions....were at LSU to win championships...all coaches are gonna have to win”

Is O an O hater for saying he has to win?

Rantards

They think everyone is as dumb and easily swayed as them. There is nothing wrong with a coach stating his appreciation of his former boss. No one besides total morons would try to find fault in his saying this.

If he hadn't, then you could cry.

What does that mean? If he hadn’t gushed over his former boss you’d have a problem with it?

Wonder if he has a problem with winning more games. Everyone but ree and a few others seem to be able to acknowledge this. Even O.

I think it's pretty safe to say that since O has been the HC he gets that he is under pressure to win now and make the necessary changes to make that happen. His methods haven't always been correct or smooth, but it's not for lack of effort. Scott's going to give him an opportunity to get the program where it needs to be and O will prove whether he's the man for the job or not.

We git it! You (and others) hate Coach O. Instead of cluttering up every thread that you post in with "I hate O" crap, just add the "I hate O's guts" line in you sig and be done with it!

Yep, the time for excuses and scapegoating people is OVER. It is time for results.

Got to hand it to you. I am surprised you would show your face around here after the way you bashed Alleva and the FBI for NOT arresting Will Wade as soon as the so-called evidence came out.

I remember you crying because federal charges were not brought against Wade immediately and that he was still the LSU coach. The last couple weeks must have been pretty rough for you.

But here you are. Respect, my man.

Ree acts like he supports O but when the rubber meets the road, he doesn't think O has what it takes to win a championship. The soft bigotry of low expectations.
