PSA on traffic: step up Governor and Mayor.

Please get a focused PSA on TV and social media. Message:
1. Never drive toward LSU until 2 hours after a game.
2. Never drive into traffic after a game. Including parking lots.
3. Stay off the roads if you aren’t traveling home from games.
I know this sounds obvious, but so many people don’t understand.

And to LSU Athletic Dept, LSU Police and traffic control
How about a dedicated in/out Limo, cab, Uber lane that avoids most traffic
Charge a convenience fee either by the game or season pass, customer's choice
System of messaging of which cars are near pickup area
Would alleviate traffic because many of us would use this from designated off campus parking lots instead of clogging traffice for hours.
Would probably generate more parking revenue than current as many people would use this that are now parking in free lots.

Actually, there is definitely a way to fix it. Turning right onto River Rd from Skip Bertman Dr shouldn’t force you to not be able to take another right until you get all the way down to Choctaw Dr.

I attended the game last might.,,,took 1.5 hours to get past the casino… I now know why people leave early. Want to see and expetience organized great parking and exit? Go to a game a Kyle field.

I don’t understand why people will tailgate for 4-6 hours before the game but not after. We stay maybe an hour after the game and don’t have issues.

Well, there is, but it would require all those cops pulling overtime playing on their phones to actually get out of their cruisers and direct traffic. Novel concept.
