On what grounds are Deboer, Lanning, Whittingham, Norvell and Sarkisian ahead of Kelly?

I am not implying that Kelly is better than any of these, but when it comes to skins on the wall, none of these beat Kelly. So I just would like to hear why and how they came up with these rankings?

Let me derail this thread here for a second, and let everybody focus on this part. I'm not saying you're wrong or right. I'll just say that I hope you're right, and I hope you're so right that Bama fans forget about Debose and Shula.

On 3...... Amen!

Norvell? Don’t you at least have to win a good league or make the CFP before you can be considered among the best?

Dude has only two years of P5 HC experience and four of FBS. He was the OC at Indiana the year Burrow won us a championship

DeBoer is the Bama Curley Halman.

Deboer hasn’t proven crap thus far. The SEC is a huge step up from where he was.

Sure there are, you just don't value them. Which is fine, but pretending like there is no possible way or reason that someone would rather have DeBoer is just dumb imo.

Feel free to list them?

What has Kalen DeBoer actually done consistently?

So the fourth best option to replace Saban is the second best coach?

Deboer maybe not. How many active coaches have played for a NC?

Bro, Les Miles and Ed O both WON Championships... and Les played in another and should have 2.

I think it was Norvell/ deboer. At worst he was the 2nd choice.

I hate bama as much as anyone. That doesn't mean I get to make shite up about them.

Win consistently as a head coach at 3 programs.

Win more games than the previous coaches.

He has Saban's bama talent and recruiting behind him. He is also coming off of a national championship game appearance.

Didn't Alabama lose a LOT of player to the transfer portal when Saban retired?

Norvell is a great coach. That team was in the playoffs if Travis doesn't get a freak injury.

He had Memphis humming and has brought fsu back from the bottom.

Why can't yall see that other teams have good coaches?

So if Norvell beat bk two years in a row what does that mean?

Norvell won 70% of his games at Memphis. 65% at Florida state.

Swinney should be #2 off of his career so far. Then after that you have a few coaches who have gotten to the NC and not won like Day, Kelly and Deboer.

Then I'd put Wittingham at #6
Lanning
Sark
Norvell
Kiffen

Not really?

They lost a few good players like Caleb downs, amos, and bond.

They added a few good players too.

I was mainly talking about recruiting. Deboer still has that bama Saban aura on the trail.

Dabo over the last 5 years isn’t top 20.

If fisher hadn’t been fired would he be top 10 because he had a national championship?

Dabo, is in the same boat in my opinion. Although, Dabo is more consistent, had more consistently good teams for longer that Fisher.

So winning a playoff game makes him higher than Kelly and all he’s accomplished? Why isn’t Sonny Dykes ahead of Kelly? Why is DeBoer ahead of someone with multiple national championships?
