If We Play/Roster Players ultimately deemed ineligible.
No Wins
No Playoff
No Bowl
Nothing, Just like the 2026 Season never happened, This Board would Melt..
We don't know what will happen , uncharted waters, and threats of being tossed out the SEC....
For What . 2 or 3 Players , That's a Gamble I wouldn't take if I was LSU
Let those Player go play at McNeese, ULL, or La Tech
No Wins
No Playoff
No Bowl

1) Not happening.
2) Who gives a frick. Nobody cares when wins are vacated. As long as we get into the playoffs, nobody will care if wins have to get vacated later.

Regardless of what happens SEC is now exposed and should not be the same. Also LSU is viewed as pro-players and SEC as a corrupt institution.

Bama didn't forfeit the games that Bediako played in after he was ultimately ruled ineligible after playing a few games. The court has ruled these players eligible, so they are eligible right now. If somehow that status changes in the middle of the season then we won't play them anymore.

This "conservative" attitude is what the SEC is banking on. And it is pathetic.
The PLAYERS, not LSU, took legal action to obtain a remedy prohibiting the NCAA from not allowing them to play college football this year. They were not the only players to do so in 2026. Far from it. In fact, Ole Miss's QB did the exact same thing...and that's why he is playing this year.
When the players took their action and obtained the temporary relief the SEC did not have a rule specifically prohibiting the players from playing if the court ruled in their favor. It was only AFTER that the SEC hastily cobbled together a rule specifically aimed at this specific group of players. The SEC did not so such to address other member schools who were rostering players who sought the ability to play from the court system.
This isn't about ensuring LSU has quality depth. It is about taking a stand against the hypocritical and BLATANT selective outrage against ONE school by the conference.
The SEC is trying to run the EXACT same playbook the Big 12 used to force Sorsby to back down. Literally, the lawsuit filed against LSU is nearly a carbon copy of the one the Big 12 filed against Texas Tech. Unfortunately, the SEC is too dumb or disingenuous to recognize that the situations are not alike. No other team in the country had previously rostered a player who had admitted to gambling on games involving his team and there were no legal challenges by any player but Sorsby to be able to play under those circumstances. Here, there have been hundreds of players making eligibility challenges based on ambiguous enforcement of NCAA rules. Most of which successful. But now the SEC decides to draw a line in the sand and specifically target one school?
"Vacating" wins is the most pathetic punishment of all. Did you know LSU didn't win a single game between 2012 - 2015? Probably not, because you were there and SAW them win the games on the field. The only person who cares about the technical vacating of wins is Les Miles. No one else is pretending it didn't happe.
TLDR: Don't be pathetic and capitulate to a "wrong" just because is easy
