Main thing I'm disappointed in about LSU not hosting is me not getting to start my annual "Be ready to lose in your regional team matched with LSU" thread.

10 out of the last 12 times.

I look forward to this thread every year.

LSU was probably the highest not to host next to maybe Arky. So using that logic, they should be rewarded with either the 15 or 16 seed site. They would have earned that. This fricking RPI bull shite and not looking at anything else now is frickING RIDICULOUS ESPECIALLY AFTER 2011!!!!

Now if you use the 9 teams ahead in RPI logic, they would be sent to about the 6th seed site which is likely west or some shite like that.

frick this bull shite again.

10 out of the last 12 times LSU's hosted and 7 times in a row. Every single time I've started that thread it's happened.

I agree, but is that a bad thing? I would rather avoid Tenn I think the dropoff after them is pretty big other than maybe Oregon state

Based on the way hosts were selected, I don't see it. We'll be the 3rd of the #2s, at best. I think we end up at the 9-12 host site.

He probably said they didn’t beat A&M at home, lost the series to War Eagle, got swept at home against Ole Miss, and couldn’t win two in the SEC tourney. Pretty cut and dry. LSU doesn’t deserve a host but that doesn’t mean we can’t win as a 2 seed. It’s gonna all depend on who we are matched up against. If we don’t get any pitching, play bad defense, and are streaky at the plate we will get beat.

Do you pay attention to previous seedings

They have zero issues pairing conference for in supers

Also will put the in same side of cws bracket

You speak in an authoritative voice and really make very in knowledgeable comments

No thanks on being 16th . Face Tenn in the Supers 2years in a row.

Im not saying it cant be done. I just think they will reward the #1 seed and wont frick them like that

Auburn would be a nice reward for them because it wouldn't be much of a challenge since Auburn shouldn't be hosting anyways. Depending on who they draw, they may not even make it out of their own regional.

I predict Louisville or usm and paired with Maryland or North Carolina

West coast has plenty 2seed type teams to fill their host brackets

I explained it earlier, but ill clarify it again for you. Ive never said they wont pair sec teams as a super regional matchup. I just think in this case, theyll protect tennessee as the 1 overall seed, and give them more of a layup like georgia southern or east carolina

What did he say about winning two out of three at then #9 Floriduh, sweeping Vandy at Vandy, playing two games in the tourney that lasted until 1:30am (back-to-back nights) then played the next game less than twelve hours after those nights?

With key injuries to some of our starters all year and two of our biggest contributors down the stretch. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we lose one of our top two hitters and lost some games down the stretch when he was out. Comes back for the Vandy series and we kick their butts. Beat the crap out of Kentucky while we were fresh. Gave the number one team one of their best games in a loss. Then play another super late game and wear down while Kentucky was more rested and got the best pitching performance out of one of their veterans for that 1 game.

It is what it is. We’ve been playing really good on the road, we’ll be healthy and very fresh for the regional. I feel bad for whoever that regional host is. I hope they don’t put us with Tennessee but if they do, we’ll be a different team and it might be closer than some think!
